There's 1 in particular the absolute bottle of the guy is outstanding he paid the deposit i travelled 5 hours up there for him to go oh the last £850 I'll sort you at end of week I'm like that's not the agreement he then kept me dangling there 3 days still no money now screaming for his deposit back I spent £300 on the whole debacle. What would you do ?

No contract signed but a receipt given stating £350 paid

Without a contract then would be more difficult to take to the small claims court as it's your word against his.

Can't remember the name off hand but has been mentioned before on here where you can go online and pay a small amount for debt collection letters.
