If I can do one of these, anybody can.
Those words will resonate around my head as I'm getting tangled in wires and losing my rag lol.

What do you guys use for the metal strip that goes around the 25l drum?

Hi Cleanz. I bought a stip of aluminium from b & q (1m long by 25mm wide x 2mm thick). Just bend that and attach to trolly.

I think it was bout £4 or £5.

I'm hoping to attach mine somehow so that it will be moveable, so I can slide it over the 25l barrel. I need that because I'm still using car at moment so I need it to fold small.

Cheers Barney, think there is a B&Q fairly near to me - will grab one of those next time I'm passing. I may need mine to be foldable too, the way my van has been going (just cost me nearly 1k to keep it on the road). I may well soon be back in the car!

yep strip of metal from b and q, you can get the £4-5 strip or a bigger length for £7-9 i think but mine was long enough for my tank bracket and then i made two strips going across for the control box to mount too!

ive put mine in my car without having to fold it pal and it fits fine!

Ah for the love of god lol, just literally bought one of those red ones after seeing it in this thread. Oh well, I'm getting a backpack first to learn the ropes so it can go on that one.. /emoticons/smile.png

Lol sorry mate.

I'm sure the red steel one will be fine but if you find it too heavy, get an aluminium one. ;-)

The relay takes the load off the pressure switch. The pressure switch eventually burns out and has to be replaced after continuous use so by putting a relay in between, the relay acts as the switch instead. Being more robust, it will last much longer.
Have you got a link for the relay you used mate? If not, what rating is it - 10a or more?

Also, what size fuse did you use - 10a?

Cheers!

No def not, but this one I used, 12V-40V 10A Pulse Width Modulator PWM DC Motor Speed Control Controller Switch
