Nce job to day

I would prefer mr taytays special brew:confused:

Been on the sloe gin I made last winter..bet tays is better and would probably remove the dirt..paint..etc

Well I was running out of things to try as nothing would shift it:(

So I had another look in the van and tried this and to my amazement it worked with scrub pads /emoticons/smile.png

Mind you it still took 6 hours to do but came clean in the end /emoticons/biggrin.png

I find the flash spray with bleach is good stuff as well for stubborn marks, just spray it on and leave it for a few minutes then wfp it

I tried at test patch on the fascia with 15% sodium hypochlorite (hypo) and it did absolutely nothing. Which apparently is the strongest bleach you can buy.

Darn....I wish now I had taken some pics to show you all how bad it was

There was me thinking it was going to be an easy job but 6 hours later it looked alot cleaner than it did before. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Mind you I find out afterwards inside the gutters and all the plastics have never been cleaned in 18 years

Funny thing was I look at next door and it was just as bad. Then during the clean the chap came out to ask me for a quote to do his. You can guess what I said /emoticons/biggrin.png

Well my reply was that will be xxx amount but sorry I'm fully booked up and can't fit you in until next next spring.

I was fooked if I was going to do another job like that ever again./emoticons/biggrin.png

That's got to have been my worst job to date and I was really peed of trying to scrub years of black crud & thick water stains off the plastic.

I did a conny roof the other week that was like that, it had not been cleaned in 15 years it was minging , I hated it /emoticons/sad.png

That's the problem with neglected old plastic as can be a barstuard to get clean. I've found newer plastic is much easier to clean as mostly comes off just using wfp pure or even tap water.

I agree, it made me laugh as the customer when I had finished said can you get my finials back to white ! I told her, you don't clean it for 15 years then expect it to look brand new! Needless to say I did not get a tip :gush:

I would have said something like "that's not included in the price but will attempt to clean them for you while I'm here for xxx amout" :D
