Thanks for allowing me to cancel my last order Alex. I had ordered the CLX in a moment of fog brained daftness and then changed my mind. I placed an order just now for the SLX 18. I rarely need to go above 20ft and i can switch to my slx25 for those times that i do. Figured it would be lighter and even easier worked with, even with an aqua dapter on the end. I also wanted to try out the new clamps......

Just to clarify - The Gardiner equivalent (Super-Max45) is actually only £606+VAT with free shipping and is about 2kg lighter.
I probably didn't look at the correct product stream. The important thing is that you could get 4 carbon fibre poles shipped from Lanbao for that much, and to most healthy individuals, that 2kg (on a 45' pole) isn't going to make much difference. Coupled with the fact that in my experience, the Lanbaos are stiffer, for me; I'll keep the change.

No disrespect Paul but if you consider 2kg on a 45ft pole isn't going to make much difference then your comments have zero credibility, end of!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, your comments couldn't be further from fact:rolleyes: I cannot believe what you have stated & anyone else, even with limited experience I can only assume will come to the same conclusion! To summarize, you cannot be taken seriously & are a hazard to any newbie seeking genuine, good advice!

No disrespect...what are you like...take a chill pill dude it's only a forum as there is no right or wrong pole if the user is happy with it

That would depend on if you are the one who shells out for a pole that is, if it is indeed a whopping 2kg heavier, seriously compromised in comparison to the Gardiner equivalent! A forum it might only be, but with advice like that it questions it's very existence.

Maybe that does look a little harsh on reflection:D however, I'm still astounded by it!! I can buy 50 paper clips for the price of 1 box of matches, However, if I want to make a living lighting fires then the paper clips ain't gonna be any good to me!/emoticons/biggrin.png

Yep Tuffers I am. Are you?

Yep, that's exactly what it is. A formidable debater he may be but that's all he is- full of hot air! If the SNP could deliver what they claim to be able to, there wouldn't be a single no vote. That itself should sound the alarm bells!!

But thanks for your input though.

If i was a scot id be thinking that we are weak being part of England & we would be weak if we were independent! So id abstain from voting and take what comes......
