New way to clean gutters… and dirty everything else

I was driving up the road on Friday and passed a bungalow that was getting a gutter clean. I saw how the guy was doing it and thought "I must try that"… not! The bloke was walking along the edge of the roof with a backpack powered garden blower. And yes, he was using that to clean the muddy gutters [emoji33] What a mess he was making!

A word of warning, if you ever though that a blower would be a good idea - it isn't. It just blew the muck everywhere. The outsides of the gutters were covered in it, and I hate to think what the garden was like.

surely a lot would end up back on the roof as well...not much point in that then..

its amazing what goes on out there....

You can actually purchase wet/dry vacuum cleaners that can suck or blow but the blow option I can't see being very beneficial to me.

Leaf blower! I use my gutter vac for lifting the autumn leaves from my path and around the plant containers, do why not a leaf blower too.

I guess they make them like that because they can. Its a cheap and easy addition that adds another feature. It may be a prospective customer happens to want it.

Any additional feature usually useless is charged extra and improve their revenues but does not improve practicality in most cases..

Some of these people have obviously never tried cleaning the gutters on some of the houses I have. Oh for a gutter clearing job as easy as these examples.

Gutter ball like in the first movie is useless.so messy that you would need to clean roof,windows, drive,gutters,fasias soffits and probably next 2 houses near on top of cars and everything around

She is good with pole but these gutters had just a 'few' leaves how about extremely heavy full of mud and I have not seen that kind of gutters in the Uk

Blower is even less practicall,tile walking not safe,not effective,slow and only ok for dry leaves

Leaf blowers are great for bone idle gardeners- just blow them in the road or next doors and someone else gets the job
