They would have to pay well! I hated just cleaner fascias and outer gutters let alone trying to clear them!

Some are really easy and others can be pigs to do for sure @Gav. It's normally the ones you think are going to easy that catch you out but at least doing a full gutter survey you have a better idea what you are letting yourself in for.

My silicone cover for my gopro arrived today, i ended up doing your mod on it smurf at the square bit at the back was not appealing :thumbsup:

With an lcd touch screen & thicker back door fitted I had no choice but to cut the silicone cover down as it would not fit.

Not am I only wanting to look into the gutters/downspouts but also take note of awkward access issues aswell so the camera set to record is ideal to playback to jog my memory how best to go about the job be it by ladders, guttervac or both.

So how do you grab a still pic from a video smurf? Do you do it via the gopro app? Not really had a chance to study the app yet!

What I do is the following:

Copy vid from gopro onto pc in a folder where you want.

Next open the vid up in realplayer

Once playing hover mouse over bottom of pic in the middle you will see a button pop up called "trim" so left click it.

New player will appear called "realplayer trimmer"

Select the frame you want to save as a pic by either stopping the vid or move the orange time line slider.

Next move the mouse to the bottom middle of the pic and you will see a popup called "save picture" appear so left click it.

Then give it a name if you want instead of using the defalt vid name and just select save which will save the pic to the original folder. Alternatively you can browse for a different folder to save it to if you want.

You do get a bit of distortion (bend) because I had it set to wide angle but you get the idea

One thing I should point out that the gopro viewer on your phone stops working when you record a vid in the gopro app so you will not be able to see what you are doing./emoticons/biggrin.png
