One of them i quoted gave me the hump today

Told her i was on holiday and would give her a message when i got back to arrange when to do windows as need access to back

Messaged her today saying tuesday as she works Thursdays and Fridays

She replies "sunday 10-11??"

I wasn't rude but declined her offer and said no Tuesday

She replies "ok i will get someone else to do it"

Haven't answered her yet but thinking it will end with the word off

:rolleyes:Who would even ask a windie to come round 10am sunday morning??

Unless that's when hubby plays golf and she wants the cobwebs blowing out

Her facebook profile pic is quite nice as it happens

On second thoughts /emoticons/biggrin.png

Put the clean on the bottom of your priority list and clean them when it suits you or you have spare time and want the extra money.

She is gone mate

Can't dictate when i do it and then say i will get someone else to do it

Good luck finding someone else to do it tomorrow 10-11

Or anytime for that matter with that attitude

I seem to get this from people when they want a weekend slot. They want it all on their terms, i.e 10 o'clock so they can have a lie in. And finished by 11 so you don't disturb their sunday lunch. Like they think that £20 or whatever is really worth that much to you that you'll drop all your weekend plans to accomodate them due to the big bucks they are spending.

Probably go with the dump on all of them.

Just out of interest how does everyone go about getting rid of a customer? do you just not turn up again? or let them know they are a **** customer and you won't be able to clean their windows anymore? lol

Even better when you pick up two 4 weekly jobs worth a total of £48 to replace them with and one of them where you don't have to move the van for /emoticons/smile.png
Another one has just phoned from a recommendation, a 6 bed, 5 bath, 4 reception house, 4 weekly and is sacking current windy who charges £45 as is unreliable. Do you have any free slots she asked, well as it happens I'm sacking a few customers who are messing me about I say.

As one door closes another opens as they say.

A total of £93 every 4 weeks picked up in a week against £90 dropped.

If I want to get shot of a messer I just don't bother to turn up again.

Probably go with the dump on all of them.

Now you know why ppl say "well the last window cleaner we had just stopped coming" /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've only had to dump one and I told her to her face. I'd rather tell them, for the poops and giggles it gives me afterwards.

Also, people are inconsiderate and in their own little world, so sometimes a stern but polite word in the ear brings them back down.

If its a spring cleaner trying the old switcheroo, ("yes I want a regular cleaner". ... after the job..."can I go for 6 monthly please") then I just don't bother. I cover myself with the expensive first clean so I don't care.

I tend to just never go back

If i said what i thought they may tell others which ruins your reputation

Especially if you tell them to **** off like @boarcity does. Bless him /emoticons/biggrin.png

If you stick to the facts, and are polite, then your reputation should be fine. But if you get into a scrap, then that probably won't do you any favours.

I can't be arsed with all that ...that's why I just don't go back as saves ending up in a slanging match.

I have a problem where i can't deal with numptys without losing the plot

I don't do idiots..lol

That's why i just walk

It doesn't always have too mate. But Iwork on the principle that if they are that bad, then probably no one else likes them either, so whos going to listen to them.
