Ladder mitts help

P

Pickingpaul

Ive got some ladder mitts but they are lose when u pop them on, i was wondering how to attach them?

Ive seen nly a demo from wagga where he cut them totally in half, the first half were worn in the video and used to be attached by bolts, then he was drilling a hole through the mitts and ladder stile and attaching a zip strap. I dont know quite what to do for the best.

just push em on top. they don't come off. take em off at night though, or they'll get nicked.

Thanks, i wonder why i didnt think of this

They're really lose, i can see they would slot onto some ladders but mine are quite thin as i only use them on small houses. I'll give it another go, maybe they will stay on as you say, cheers /emoticons/smile.png

Just tried them and ur right, so pop them on in the morning and off at the end of the day, i will see how they stay on at work. Thanks hutch for pointing out the obvious and simple

Just duct tape around the top of the ladder stiles to thicken them up a bit, and then put the mitts on as usual.

Now why did I not think of that one /emoticons/biggrin.png

try using window sealing silicon inside the mitts and push em on.if not, like u said drill through,2x bolts 4x large washers so the bolt head and nut don't push through.

i found that a pair of socks did the same job. and you can still split your ladders with them on
