hi everyone can any of you tradders tell me best way to squeegee the slim top openers always struggle with them and seem to spend too long detailing them thanks in advance guys

If its long enough then I can do a good job with the 14"squeegee but its a bit hard to describe how I do it. But for best results, I have an easily accessible 6inch squeegee hanging on my unger pouch. With this you can just use it however you would normally fan a bigger window, and it does a really tidy job.

If they are very narrow, then you can use a small channel, say three inches, and just do straight blading across.

Having the right size channel makes the job easier even if you have to cut one down.

You can squeegee top openers by running just part of the blade along the top edge and then put the full blade on the glass when you turn to come back across the glass.

try a wagtail, ive cut a wagtail channel down to 6 inches as u carnt get them in this size.you could also cut a steel channel down and this should fit your blade.or just buy one.

Lower the squeegee handle as you come down the hopper window as the tendency is to lift the handle which will leave soap lines.

Wet and dry micro-fibre is quicker, easier and does just as good a job(if not better) than messing about with different sized squeegees. That is unless they're SUPER STORM dirty.

Exactly, its no mess about for me when I already have the small squeegee on my belt. Wet and dry wiping is the biggest chore going, I only do it on leaded, when the windows are tiny, and if I haven't got a tool that'll fit.
