Don't do that! I've got my mop stood on its handle, dressed up in a nice frock. Shes my girlfriend for the night, and I'm hoping to get to second base./emoticons/wink.png

If the average price for a small house was £60 I'm wondering now what my food bill would be like

Just turn back the clock fifty years and you will get the idea what I mean.

Haha so true smurf I started working in 1977, first weeks wage including a saturday morning my take home pay was....£26. However to put that into perspective you could buy a pint of beer for 25p...lol

I have one at £85. It has glazed balconies and glazed decking over looking the river wye. Takes two and a half hours if in quick.

Was chatting to my competition on Monday. Nice bloke. Maybe we could upset the monopolies commission......

and me ...struggling to get em all to a tenner...well a tenner is the new fiver....:rolleyes:the only way is up...
We still have the idiots here doing houses at £3.00 , they pee me off big time as you you just know it's beer money for them as there likely signing on

We have a few like that round this way Puraclenz, doing a four bed detached for £4 quid a time, and 3 bed semi's for £2.50 it really does my head in!

People think i am taking the P when i give them my price /emoticons/sad.png once i get chatting they normally come round to my pricing , if they dont well sod em :hehehe:

My attitude too m8, if they want some thieving scum in a track suite for £3.00 then f##k em they don't deserve me /emoticons/smile.png

i mean....i could easy match them stupid prices....but would it actually involve any window cleaning at all....

you do sometimes wonder when, if like me you ask how much the last windy charged and they tell you:eek::eek::eek:there is no way they could do it for that price and not be on the fiddle....i have come across many over the years...

thats why i much prefer to price when no one is in and i just leave my card they can pay me what i want or ....not..

of the three new ones from last week so far i only have the one booked in for tomorrow....but i am not chasing the other two ..despite saying they want me to do them....i only do fully booked in work these days....money left ...etc

just had one phone me up and say the windows were fine thankyou i will send by online....thats the way we want it...

i still have a half dozen maybe new jobs lying on my pad from the summer rush....

including the one who told the wife she cant believe the extortionate prices windowcleaners charge....hmmmm....she can wait till i am in the area,,,

another is a house name and after driving to the bottom of the long lane and back i thought feck me if i have time to find that.....

another a cleaner gave me to phone....and probably more if i look,i should be straightish if i get stuck in next week and then maybe...i will have some spare hunting work time ....but....i could of course ...just clean my own...its been a long...long...time since the insides were done.....in fact...poor wifey has done the one in the front room...
