Biggest risk

Biggest risk taken by myself !!!! To many to remember really , I've been in a crable that had its cable snap , I've been 25 ft high in a cherry picker that blew over , cleaned a factory once 80 ft up to dust the girders I stood on top of the factory crane with a 25 ft duster and got to close to electric wires that blew the pole straight out my hands , and personally I'm always very proud the first parachute jump I ever did my chute was tangled and I sorted it while hurtling down at 120 mph and I'm still here ./emoticons/wink.png

Bloody hell! My life is boring next to your adventures

in life.....getting married...

when do they invent time travel?

suppose on the windowcleaning front....everyday is a risk....that's why I like my weekends safely tucked up in my chair...only risk...choking on my fry up...

I've been in the game many years fella,, once had a big self propelled boom on a job at a sainsburys in Birmingham and I mean this machine was enormous big 120 footer, I had to go on the road to get to the other side of the building , the thing broke down and caused total gridlock , this one big fella was soo angry he sparked me clean out with a huge uppercut /emoticons/sad.png

The nasty sod

Biggest risk or risks in this job were all when I first started out. I can remember cleaning a three story house with thick snow on the ground...never thought twice about it. When you first start out I dont think you quite appreciate the dangers if the job.

In life......most of the risks taken have been drunken ones. Best forgotten;)

whats the biggest risk you ever taken in this job ? or in life?

In Life

2 tours of Afghanistan and 1 of Iraq

Neither of those came close to the shock of stepping over an electric cattle fence and my nut sack getting the shock of it's life ............ literally

Like Anthony, I too have served overseas, but I think the time that I felt most at risk was when I was spotted a 'wanted' male hiding in the local park. He ran, I gave chase on foot. It was like 'Hot Fuzz'. Over walls, through gardens, across roads. I am shouting road names into the radio so assisting officers can find me. I jumped over a wall into an enclosed car park and there he was waiting for me grinning, with a huge machete...............It all ended ok for me but I was truly scared that day.

I've not finished my life quite yet so will let you know after /emoticons/biggrin.png
