Does anyone use john guest tubing with their ro?

looks good and not so bad price wise....i have just got 25metres of the 15mm to do the central heating for the daughter.so must be tough stuff../emoticons/biggrin.png

That's what I have on my RO, and I used to use it for work at some point, but wracking my brain to remember when and for what, I remember we used to cut it with these little plastic V shaped cutters, really bugging me now.....

Not particularly heavy, more awkward when it comes to coiling up etc.
You've used it as pole hose then I guess? I'm just looking to try something different. I find the Gardiners yellow gets kind of sticky on the outside and the pu hose........well it coils up . When I first started WFP, I used a clear hose. Can't for the life of me remember it's characteristics though.

you do have to laugh some days tuffers...i used to roll it up and nicely place it around the headrest now i give up and just lobb it in the back.../emoticons/biggrin.png

yep gotta cheapncheerful reel....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hose-reel-Takes-80metres-8mm-hose-or-60metres-12mmm-New-Flatpack/130663149109?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=20131017132637&meid=ff9d6b4522bf4f649d1e22a47cafa818&pid=100033&prg=20131017132637&rk=4&rkt=4&sd=180878550878
cant lose at that price kept the wife quiet for hours trying to put it together...

i may be going pump in box from car soon...thirty meters should reach off driveways....
You might find 30 is not enough cnc, especially on the big houses you can use 50m and more.

yeh me only got little ones.../emoticons/biggrin.png...in reality i didnt want to pay too much ...suppose if the worst comes i could just buy another and double up....

the trouble is.....i can just see me nicely working away and my trolley runs out and 30 metres is a long jog back....

It amazes me what it gets caught on. Rose bushes, door *****, gates with fancy ironwork, in between paving slabs, roots, WHEELIE BINS etc etc.

Have a look at some of these @Tuffers for something different. A few different types there. Cheap stuff too /emoticons/smile.png

Personally, I like the Gardiners all season stuff
Cheers Jimmy, I don't like the all season hose. I found that it doesn't glide up the pole and snags in the pole when extending. I'll try some clear stuff for a change
