Text to customers the night before??

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Never mention what system I am using unless specifically asked, or if they see me using it, usually they are more interested than anything and after I explain and say any problems let me know they are always fine and not had anyone moan yet.

Also I text those who need to be texted the night before, people who leave money out or need to leave something open, or some ask for notice for various reasons (one has a little dog with heart problems who gets all wound up for example)

Yep, any faffing about like this and mine are relegating themselves. A few chances and they are getting dumped. I've been quite lucky so far but the newer ones need training up.
Sometimes its legitimate isnt it, for example they are having some buildng project.

On one of my favorite roads i dumped a customer i must have been doing for 15 years and i dont think she has smiled in all that time. She had gotten into the habbit of giving me a dissapointed grumpy look with a "its never been four weeks has it" line, we love that line dont we chaps? Especially when its actually been four weeks.

I Said " yes its been exactly four weeks, i'll leave it then shall i?" And continued on cleaning next door.

"No u may as well do them while u are here"

"Actually no. I dont want to do them for you now, u obviously arent that pleased to see me and im getting annoyed by your line 'its never been four weeks"

She asked me again but no chance, now when i do that road im glad i never go to her house even though in theory shes a good customer in the respect that she or her husband (who is a nice guy by the way, shame) are always in and always pay.

I've just started wfp and have been practicing on my family windows to get to grips with it and fair play it is a good see way to clean them and they look good after. The thing is I'm coming across from trad window cleaning so does anyone think there is a need to mention me swapping across to the wfp to the customers or do I just go ahead and do it. Can there be any problems cleaning with wfp in the glass after doing trad? I have been texting people before I go but after reading some.of your posts It's canned my way of thinking as sometimes you do get the people that says "not today I will skip this clean"

I never mentioned it when I changed over, don't see any reason to?

I have a few I have to text and yes at times they take the **** and say don't bother this time round, I had a text the other day from a custy saying can I go 8 weekly now as you do such a good job they seem to stay clean , I said that's because I've invested in the best equipment possible, and ill have to charge you £4.00 extra a clean because of the extra water , sometimes hate people having my number lol

got me excited anyway shazzy.../emoticons/biggrin.png

Good on ya mate. I'm polite and friendly to all my customers so when they are not friendly back it gives me the arseh0le, even more then payment issues. The 4 week line is really annoying, but I don't get that very much these days as I'm usually running behind. /emoticons/biggrin.png

With the issue of changing to WFP,I wouldnt even mention it. If a plumber came round your house with a different blow torch from last time you used him, he wouldnt go telling you about it.

ASK THEM IF THEY WILL BE IN TO PICK YOU UP IF YOU HAVE A FALL. no matter how confident you are climbing, you will realise this is the only way to clean especially in the Autumn months, WIND, GALES, no more CLINGING onto window ledges, waiting for the swirling wind to stop, before you descend

always keep water at 0.00 tds, any spotting next time give the windows a good scrubbing. tell them to phone you if not happy with clean, you will come back to reclean.

most will be happy you offered this service to them.

I text the odd one who has locked gate, as for the ones who might say "leave mine this month" I say "I'm sorry but I don't work like that, I either do them or don't do them, bills don't stop coming in and if everyone said that to me i would be homeless"

This usually changes there mind. Lol

sort of on topic....i of course have ladders etc and clean traditional ONLY when its easier for me for example small terrace house 2 up two downs.....so pole 99% of my custy....but i did use to only pole tops and blade bottoms, but then i started thinking whats the point in that, ive got the pole out etc....so my question is do you pole the bottom windows all the time, u havnt got the safety excuses with bottoms as you do for tops.

on topic....i text ones i have to....ones that leave money or gates open etc....but have recently have a few say leave it this time, my response is NO WORRIES but i will have to charge double on my next clean. if they dont like that then i jog them.
