Before Christmas I sent out emails including artwork to 6 companies. One came back within an hour quoting £95 + vat to do both sides, bonnet and rear doors. Not bad I thought.

Second quote came in at £200 + vat, third at £180 + vat, forth at £220 + vat, fifth at £175 + vat. and the sixth came in at £250 + vat.

So I starting thinking that my £95 + vat was a mistake and they missed the 1 when typing. I called into their shop today. There is no mistake. The price is £95 + vat. They are a well known company that has a great reputation.

In short, I am well chuffed.

A lot cheaper to get them to cut the vinyl and do it yourself

Spray bottle of soapy water and a plastic spreader like the ones for car body filler is all you need

Oh and a pin to pop any bubbles you can't squeeze out

I got a quote for supply online and it was going to cost £69. So it isn't much more to have it professionally fitted. It will take them an hour but may take me all day.

Not too bad then

I have done it before back in the boy racer days on lots of cars but 20 quid for them to do it is a bargain

That's bloody good for £95. Are you sponsored by Cadbury's? /emoticons/biggrin.png
I'm really pleased with it Tuffers. I wanted a luxury, almost prestige look. I asked the bodyshop to spray it Cadbury's purple. I think they did a good job. Now with the signing it has finished the job off.

I'm pretty certain that there wont be another window cleaners van quite like it in my area.

Very nice job, smart. I was toying with the idea of ford logo style, but clear and precise Is best for clarity.
