I'm Just sorting out my camera survey kit and van out and I'm off.

Had to empty the van for a few tip runs to help the one of my lads out as you do.

No worries. Hope they are good earners

I used my hatchback for the tip as I read it needs a trade licence for the van. I crammed it all in anyway and the garden is a better place for the gnome, once I've glued his hat.

Thanks for the tip andy. Will do that. Wonder if I'd get away with buying my wife a bag of resin for Valentine's Day 'to share' ...

I'm sure getting a bag of di resin for your missus for Valentine's Day will put here in the mood...A right one /emoticons/biggrin.png

Mine wants roses, but I'm allergic anyway :)

Am I right in saying, I can bypass the need for a large water container and just fill at normal mains pressure through the di into 20l containers for use poured into the backpack?

Yup... that's how I've been doing it for the last couple of years.

If space & money are in short supply then it's the best way!

A bit off topic but why do people on here bang on about daqua like it's gods gift to window cleaners?

They charge £300 for a small booster pump u can get for £59 delivered off fleabay.

When I put my system together I did my research and put it together alot cheaper.

Another example of this, a simple dial flow regulator costs £78 on daqua, mine cost me £5.50 delivered, cos it's just a circuit board with a potentiometer on the front, does the same job tho.

I got the same tds meter about 10 pounds cheaper off eBay. I guess it's always worth looking around a bit to see who can offer something for less,

Daqua is a well respected supplier for quality gear. I can understand shopping around for the same identical quality parts cheaper but you are on about buying either fake HM tds meters that are inacurate or buy diy bits alot cheaper that may not last as long.
