Sorbo double holster modification

i love this holster but i decided i would like to hold an additional squeegee.

Somi added an extra loop using marerial from an old pouch and now it holds three squeegees

Funny you posted that as was thinking I will have to get myself a sorbo holster for the new moeman when they come out as would not be able to use a boab

It dents the rubber if left in there too long, i put one in there now and then but i find if its left for a while it dents the rubber

I know its ok for a house or so, but if like me u can work up to 7 hours straight without going back to the car it will get dented.

No, just checked nothing, i will take a picture, its fairly easy.

Get a jubilee clip, big enough for the job, then make a small hole either side of the bottom of the scrapper slot on your ninja boab, just make it big enough to thread the jubilee clip through, then tighten it up to the size u want, put tape if u like and thats about it really.

I used a dremel rotary tool to make the hole, u can just drill a couple small holes otherwise.

The second one which is attached to the first i simply zipstrapped them together and taped it a few times. I can take a picture if u want?

I have an old ally applicator i cut down to 5.5 inch same as a squeegee and use for georgians

Just turned monsoon sleeve inside out and cut and sowed with 12lb fishing line

Strong and not come apart

Also made bottle holder from old plastic pouch cut in half lengthways and turned inside out and resown

yeah i made a small one too, i took it a step further and made a small bucket on a belt

I trialed this for a month but took it off, i was using this tiny applicator with regular 14", if i were to try something like this again i might try an 18" with a 10"

I like your method with squeegeeing off the sills

I used to use my version of sick charlie for that but tend to use whatever is in my hand now

Only use 1 sill cloth per day as it don't get used too much

Thanks, if i was cleaning a house like mine there i tend to squeegee all the windows with the big ones and leave all the sills then go round with the small one on all the sills and following that small one with the cloth. But like you i often use whats in the hand

It does make a difference wiping the bottom frame with squeegee also

I'm just saying that new channel will be more suited to be in a sorbo holster than a boab @daveyboy1 to stop the ends getting damaged. Unless moeman are going to supply a holster for them as well I will be getting a sorbo.

The new moerman squeegee? I was using in in the sorbo holster just from habbit, im unsure to be honest if it will physically fit or not in different boab, i guess asking bob would be best. I will see if my prototype fits in the unger boab......

Plastic is hard enough to take it and it does easily fit in the ninja boab but. Theres still the problem of it resting on the plastic inside and denting. Polz nbladz told me that the moerman boab is designed in such a way that it doesnt dent the rubber, i will be getting one of those one of the days

Just did my boab

Thick stiff audio cable

Ninja boab has 3 indented holes both sides that i burnt through with a hot screwdriver then tied knots in cable and melted them on gas cooker flame to stop them undoing

I will buy some insulation tape and tape them to each other all the way round which will make it stiffer

Very nice dave, does it spring back horizontal after u take the squeegee out?

Whats your opinion of that green rubber u have there dave? Never tried it personally /emoticons/smile.png
