That is the problem.I could not win few because thay said 'our last window cleaner did it for 7' not suprising that he is no longer their window cleaner
Most of custys understand that once I do something for them but first they need to call me and accept my price without knowing that I do not cut corners. The trick is to find the ppl that are willing to pay a decent rate for a decent job and not go down the route of competing on price..
Not yet.I am busy with the painting so I want to focus on that for now but I quess I could fit few windows here and there. Are you on facebook?I know smurfs opinion but i find it works for me due to a lot of good recommendations on there
And as soon as anyone on the local facebook groups asks does anyone know a good windie the link to my page gets posted straight away by about 8 people who have also left me very good reviews
By the time most windies reply i have already spoken to them in private and quoted them
I take the hit on first cleans, i dont charge more for those. Im not saying a daft price, just a price that you WANT to earn in the long run, not a price that you think is all you can get. I canvassed two houses in the same street last week similar size, quoted a tenner, one said no way last cleaner did them at 6 quid ill do myself, other sad next door is paying 18 quid and bit my arm off!My plan is the same but if you hit customer with much higher price in the first quote they will not want you so you cannot build round.I turned few custys down as well,I know my lowest rate And I will not be competing on price alone but what I am saying is that if You ask funny money you will not build your round at all.
Yer many need to come to terms we are nearly in 2016 not 1996 I here £6-8 a house come on alright if you still live your mum and give her £20 a week !!I noticed you are trying to increase the content of this site Gav. How about an article about pricing aimed towards customers? It could serve well to draw people to the site, increase the customers awareness of what we do, and also give noobs an idea of what they should be charging for the different services. Just an idea.
Hi not sure were you are in UK but in the midlands its £15 3 bed £20 if consev windows are cleaned £18 - £20 4 bed Never go lower than £10I take the hit on first cleans, i dont charge more for those. Personally would rather build slower and get better prices, i suppose it depends how desperate you are for work, i have part time employment so whilst i want to get out of that asap is not a must for me to take work at any cost.
im in west yorkshire.Hi not sure were you are in UK but in the midlands its £15 3 bed £20 if consev windows are cleaned £18 - £20 4 bed Never go lower than £10
That is appalling. Who are these idiots with pockets full of change jangling about.this is what im up against round here, i even quoted her £10 when i normally would say 12 for a semi..and this is common responseView attachment 7531
