Yes, I put mine in very hot water for a few minutes to make it supple and then pulled it straight and tied it between a patio door and fence. I left it in the freezing cold outside for a while. It definitely doesn't coil as much now.

Working with this coiled nightmare, I tried unravelling it the other week and it just went back to this, stupid thing pulled the hose connection to my aquatap when fighting it today, looks so unprofessional when working at peoples houses, fiddling away all the time to get pole extended. May try the hot water technique and stretch it out. Really not a happy bunny with this hose. n lite hose, my gardeners hose done this too, I was thinking of trying the gardeners hot hose.

It looks like you have a closed hose system which is not allowing any natural work twists to come uncoiled. It may be worth before reeling the hose reel each time to disconnect the pole hose and as the hose is reeled back on it will allow it to untwist itself.

Thank you for your suggestion, I have an aquatap fitted n wondered if that is the cause, but others use aquadapter, same principle, I think, water stoped but pressure in hose, at times, before reeling in hose, I shut pump off n open aquatap to release pressure before reeling in, but still not helping, it's going for a hot bath n getting stretched, need to stop working now due to it, the closed hose system seems to be the issue, afteri try n sort it, I will try taking the hozelock connection next to pump before reeling in, but that's a bit of a carrying on, time n again, but if needs must, will do, thanks again

I could not get on with the yellow pole hose that came with both my SLX poles so have changed it for Lite-5.

Ok I know green wasn't the smartest colour choice I could have made, but it was different, and most of it will be in a loop at my feet.

How are you connecting the Lite-5 to the orange hose SP?

You need to disconnect frequently to rectify this coiling.

I disconnected the Gardiner tubing via the plastic John Guest connecter. I removed the barbed insert and reinserted it into the Lite-5 then just reconnected it into the JG connecter again. So the brush is just as removable as it was before.
