Youngman's telescopic ladder

Only use a ladder now for going over garages to get to some backs. So I thought I would buy a telescopic ladder. Bought one yesterday from screwfix, 'xtend and climb' which is very sturdy and strong. Only problem is once up, to get the rungs down, you have to press levers in each rung to release. My problem is arthritic hands, and I don't have the strength in my thumbs to do this. Have just seen a video of Youngman's version. Same specifics in the ladder, but to close, you just pull on two rings on the bottom rung, and hey presto. Just wondering if anybody has used or seen these ladders ?

I think they are all made that way now with thumb buttons so you don't accidently collapse the rungs whilst using it.
