Got 4 hours in after staring out the window for 4 hours this morning. Why do I always feel knackered when I don't go out but want to?
At times it can be mentally frustrating and that's tireing

I came home like a drowned rat but managed to get 1 full exterior cleaning and 1 gutter clear & garage roof moss removal jobs done today. Also removed an old sat dish as a favour as you do.

Cheapndave removes satellite dishes for free with his ladder

Only problem is they don't need removing

stopped raining by 1, went to work and got a solid four hours done, very important on days like today to get out and do half a day when its rained all morning. Feel so much better when u wake up on tuesday after having half a decent day on monday. So easy to get behind on the round lads eh?

And so depressing hearing others managed to work /emoticons/sad.png lol good for you buddy

ha makes me happier this post as I accidentally said I would go and see the daughter in sheffield and I really didnt want to lose a days work at the mo...so will get stuck in the rest of the week as the weather looks good...

took the daughter to the local pub, as you do.....and we had four roast beef and yorkshire pudding.....with mash and peas...

now lets just say cheapie always likes a bargain....you wont beat this...£2,50 each meal yep...£2,50....providing you bought a drink but I didnt know you could go in a pub and not buy a drink....

three thick slices of good old roast beef sat in a yorkshire pud with jet black gravy poured over and peas and mash...

I must visit the daughter more often....

But yeah, best not to annoy the domestic customers who largely dont like u cleaning them in rain
that isnt true ^^ .

i used to think like you , mainly this was back in the day when i was a lone wolf and didnt care to get my hair wet..

but once i had employees, with wages to pay i had to rethink things. a day sitting at home now costs me dearly, so lets see how they take me turning up in all weathers

i believe i lost 3 or 4 , certainly under 10,who wouldnt have it,but the rest of my round dont mind . so thats 0.5 % didnt like it

those 4 were rubbish anyway, the sort who prefer no cleaning in Winter

I think pickingpaul and myself know our own customers boar not all rounds are the same at all ,I could easily work in heavy rain doing my posh oakwood round as nobody is ever home but my working background area of chaddeaden 8/10 would tell me to go take a jump trying to clean in the rain

I havent managed to work a full week so far this year, because of the weather. Managed to get half a day in yesterday and this coming thursday looks like a washout!

It's a lovely sunny day today but I'm not working as us old ones like to have a day of rest now and again. I'm betting I will get drenched tomorrow as that’s just sods law when I've got to go out and do a bit.

I'm now wondering if this cavity wall insulation poly beads are going to be rock solid as they can be coated with a glue type stuff when pumped into the walls.

I will soon find out tomorrow I guess

No I didn't charge extra but if they come out ok in big lumps then might work out in the end easier/quicker to do. Either way I'm going to have to put me ladders up to short out that joint/split in the guttering you can see and also unblock the downspouts.

sorry about your car @abs hope ya get it sorted soon
Cheers norm , was towed away this afternoon so should have it now Thursday all being good, don't work Fridays as my nipper only does half a day at nursery so I'll start again fresh Monday next week /emoticons/smile.png

All i know is i can work a long day and i dont need to work a long day everyday and if its raining one day i will chill out and do the thing i would do on a day off, shopping, go bank, relax and get some rest and i can almost always get all my houses cleaned in dry weather but yeah im sure some wont mind if i cleaned in the rain but theres actually no reason for me to do so. I dont have 60 hours worth of work a week demanding i work all day no matter what the weather, so i just clean them in dry.
