Upvc fascia

I hope I make sense here pal, when you say spray on how do you get it on pvc (soffits&facias) above porches and conservatories? Reason I asked I did my first Upvc clean today (friend) and on the facia boards I could not get rid of blackish streaks. I used virosol diluted 1:10 scrubbed in and left a couple of minutes then rinsed. All using WFP with tap water. Will this stuff work? I'm going back to have another go. Have magic sponges, cillit bang, flash with bleach, but if this stuff works I will try that.
Hi mate yes spray on with spray bottles hard to reach areas I have a battery powered sprayer it will fetch off anything the black marks are usual from the roof running down the back of the gutter or lead marks this gets it off

Chill it bang etc ok for cleaning new plastic but doesn't penetrate snuff to remove stains in marks and pure water will not either

It's a bit like t cutting a car it reveals fresh plastic underneath

It's been moulded into shape for yank profile guttering so would be no good to me on most jobs I do.

Anyone tried the marxoff attachment from spinacleanThanks

Last resort for me is to use ladders where safe to do so and try to scrub stuborn marks off plastic but some old plastic just don't come up new looking clean no matter what you try to use.

I went against everything I believe in this week and did a big upvc gutter and fascia clean by hand!!! I hate doing this work but things are a bit slow so after turning it down twice I agreed to do it. I spent the first hour doing it with wfp and quickly remembered why I hate it so much. The fascias were wood and were really filthy and was so much effort to do a good job from the ground. Doing it by hand turned out to be easier but more time consuming. I still had to do about 20m from the ground over a large ground floor extension and that well and truly finshed me off!!!!

which battery powered sprayer do use @Eviestevie? and what length is your lance? cheers

I've started to using a mix of tfr & hypo so using any type of sprayer would kill it in no time.

A chepo car/truck brush on the end of a wfp dipped into a bucket of the mix works well for me. That's until I can find a hypo tolerent pump so I can pump it up the pole and brush over the plastic at the same time,

I wished I had taken some pics of my recent works especially a minging, algae ridden painted garage door & frames I used that mix on as it came up brilliantly.

Has anyone used Starbrite black streak remover for removing the black water marks on facia boards
No, but I have heard it's good. The thing is, I don't think there is anything that will get tiger stripes off if they are stubborn with a brush and chemical alone. Even magic sponge and cream cleaner won't shift them sometimes.

Agree with above!!i did recommend the water based pvc restorer from eurocell best stuff I've used,I usually find a the black marks are pitted in and only using a pvc restorer that strips the top layer of plastic will shift it,but it's hard work and can dull the plastic so need a sealer after

Sorry I mean "battery pack" as the white wine is making me type funny /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've tried everything on it, virosol, magic sponges, cillit bang, doktor power, cif cream cleaner, flash with bleach but nothing will shift them
