I er :hiding::hiding::hiding: now come on daveyboy just how would you clean all those heavy duty leaded windows...you havent got the force yet..and I am buggered if I can scrim that much ever again....

so thats two calls to my mobile yesterday and today...two texts which my son sent to spam and two calls to the house phone which I ignored....maybe they will get the hint but maybe they wont...

yeh eventually I will accidentally answer and I am giving them smurfs number.../emoticons/biggrin.png

Just answer it and tell em to **** off or pay more

No need to dodge em..just tell em how it is

I was lucky to be born with no filter

If i have something to say i say it

But some people are a bit more diplomatic or find it hard to say no

Pair of oldies rang me yesterday...one in a 3rd floor flat the other in a house opposite...one off cleans...so I priced stupidly high as I really didn't want to do them after the full hard day I had yesterday!

As luck was obviously shadowing me yesterday the pair of them agreed to the price:D!

I was driving to do them this morning thinking...what the Christ have I done here....they were stinking...5mins into the flat I almost felt like crying....no bull***t....the house wasn't much easier lol....but after both finished in under an hr....I felt like I had conquered the morning of all mornings this week:thumbsup:

You are dead right smurf...good sales outweighs the work ratio for me too....and at 37 I should be ashamed to admit that:rolleyes:

I do agree daveyboy but I am a softee but however in this case the only way to do that many leadeds is wfp van mount and I havent got that..

besides the fact its been six months since I did it so they be just a little bit cheeky.

I just hope all these phone calls arent new work.. mind you I am determined not to be distracted by new work this year ..my loyal old custys come first...my new policy...loved today....just the best...

dodged em all as you do ...but still collected em all...forecast for tomorrow not so good...

Forecast for tomorrow for me is work work work and maybe get somewhere with this bleedin kitchen i am fitting at home too

And another quote through the same woman i was talking about..just had a phone call

I reckon I'll owe her a freebie soon lol

Standing in a field watching son rugby training at the mo..been asked of i want to help.coach them as i used to play..reckon I'll say no as I'm too busy

Incidentally i clean a lot of their houses now

Played a bit with my son on sunday in the park over the road

Helping him out a bit as he doesn't communicate

No one passes as they don't know he's there

He needs to shout short left or right or long left or right so someone knows he's there to pass to

He will learn though or i will have to beat him lol

yep I am like that when I get a big job in ...but once started ...you cant stop til its finished..
I got a constant ringing in my ears at the mo.....

hmmmm....somebody is after me in middlewich..

our friends dont give up easy.../emoticons/biggrin.png

now that is one big job I am not going back too...
Yep, one of my barterer customers is having a big **** off conny built. I wonder how much extra they are thinking of paying me to clean it on top of the house windows

I can see a bit of tooing and frowing next time I'm due there /emoticons/biggrin.png

;)Extra 2 quid
Probably /emoticons/biggrin.png. They asked me to quote S/F/G on it and I put in a price of £300, Mr barterer nearly choked . He ended up getting the blokes that pressure washed the drive to do it for £200. I pointed out to him that they had left £100 worth of muck still on them. He saw my point /emoticons/wink.png

Not quite but when I come away from a job their bank balance is a lot smaller before I started./emoticons/biggrin.png

Got the same feeling last time I went out, a neighbour asked "can you do mine"? At first glance her house looked the same as the one I had just finished so I said hers would be the same. When I got to clean it she has a door and two windows extra on the end and her garage has been converted so that's another extra one (don't know how I missed that). If she wasn't so milfey I would have told her it would be extra but I just got too distracted.

I got all my work done this week early but was knackered due to it but i still got a bu ch of new ones which i broke in, then last night i canvassed another three houses and cleaned them this morning, bloody hell it was cold today, gloves back on, was very hard to clean these three, thilthy, but all seem like great customers so im now very glad i got the, but was feeling the pain this morning, had to have an afternoon nap

I got a lot of new cleans this week

Plus found an area 3 miles away (good.size newish houses) where the windie has gone awol for the last few months (i know he now lives in spain but he kept quiet and buggered off)

That leaves a lot of possible work for me and I have got 1 enquiry per day from that

lmao. a guy approached me this morning was doing my last job he only wanted a one off so i said yeh ok ill do it now how many windows? i see 7 at front is it same size at back? yeh he says, ok i said 15 quid. he ****** off out, i cleaned front, went round back was massive lol, swimming pool and lot, anyway regretted it so i cleaned glass only and ****** it off, got me 15 quid, need to remember to not guess quotes and be more bold lol

You can blame that on frank /emoticons/biggrin.png

This last 2 days has really fooked me off with new custys....one walk up whilst on another job" can you give me a price pls"... First I asked their frequency they wanted 8wkly...gave her price for that she was half soaked so gave the cheaper price on 4wkly...then proceeds to question me why it's more expensive on 8wkly? Ffs

Second one today little coffee shop on a garden centre asked to call and quote...4wkly..inside and out....gave the quote and she said " oh that's too dear the window cleaner at our pub charges £20 inside and out"... To which I replied " perhaps you should get him out to have a look for you then"

Is it just me guys...the more for 8wkly is standard as far as I am concerned I learnt back in 2008 to not just price work for the sake of it...it's pointless

What justifications do you give for the 8wkly hike,I wasn't even prepared to price her 6wkly I just didn't like the cow! Lol

Quoted 3 houses on a new build estate this morning that came in via Facebook. All are 3 storey townhouses and all are basically a builders clean. Doing the lot on Monday and dreading it!
