Cavassing - Go back after a few days?

Hello!

I have canvassed some local streets to me and had a positive response!

I marked down all the houses that said "excellent, ill talk to my partner and give you a call" after giving them a quote. Been almost a week now, would you guys normally go back to the houses?

I dont want to seem pushy but also dont want to be forgotten!

Yes I'd go back again. They may of genuinely forgot. The worst they can say is 'No thanks' ... unless they wanna be really rude

Dont take that as an answer. Either book a definite date or if they wont commit tell them youll call back on such an such a time to check if they want them doing.

Those that just want a card probably wont call back they just want an excuse to get rid of you and are too polite to say no.

I agree on that but to be fair, the ones im thinking about took the time to get me round the back for a quote etc so want to get back to these

I think i may go back wheni clean on that street again and play it like "Just cleaning your neighbours, i gave you a quote, have you had chance to have a think? I could do them now?" type of thing

I just don't like to look desperate for work

That's why i wouldn't go back as i like them to think i can take or leave them

Or you get the haggling over price etc if they know you need the work
