Like an empty fairy bottle, fill it up with your cleaning solution ( water/ecover ), carry in your pouch, so you can wet your mop without running back to dip in the bucket. I will do doing this for all inside jobs from now on

whats this spray applicator lark all about ???
Mines an Unger sprayer on a belt, either spray it on applicator or window whichever. Holds a litre of solution and I can easily do half a dozen 3 bed semis with that , and thats cleaning frames as well giving couple squirts on cloths when needed. When I change sleeve I just give it a good few sprays to soak it and then it only needs a couple of squirts every window and jobs a good en. Only buckets I have are for dirty cloths, works for me.

For inside jobs a spray bottle is better than a fairy which squirts water.

My 2cents
Yup, I do carry a little fairy bottle with solution in that I stick in pouch when I'm doing first cleans as well.

Think im going to give this a bash i need to get me a new pouch for the sprayer as i got 1 for scrims and microfibers .
Unger sprayer on a belt does just that and don't cost much more than a tenner mate. Clips on and has sprayer at end of a curly tube.

Glass Gleam 4 from Titan Labs. Probably the most expensive and you do need to 'double' their recommended dose from 1/4 fl oz to 1/2 fl oz to get it to blade perfectly but it will give the best result, leave the windows cleaner longer than any dish soap and requires less detailing at there is a lot less 'sudding'

I use a mix of roughly 3 parts ecover to 1 part fairy, but i might try the flash - heard some good comments from other windies.

For a litre bottle of ecover i would use about an inch of flash in the ecover bottle

I use the lemon concentrate gel as it is the lightest colour but it is probably irrelevant as it doesn't leave a film like fairy anyway

Plus it is the best smell

I add it direct to the applicator so don't use much

Would use less than quarter of a small fairy sized bottle for a whole days work so the expense of using 2 products is far outweighed by the amount of time it lasts

Made a mix with 2 litre bottles last month and still got over a bottle left

I have an old pouch i converted into a bottle holder and my applicator holds enough water for a house so the bucket stays in the motor on maintenance cleans

If doing a few without going back to it i use a fairy bottle with solution premixed with water just to wet applicator when needed

The bucket is for new cleans and holding my tools while driving

It is lovely walking around without a big bucket of water

This is the one I use

They always have offers on the bigger size or tesco sometimes have the bogof offer on

For the flash gel do you mean for washing up or for floors and surfaces as I cant get flash washing up liquid anywhere here in Gainsborough. Also does the flash help with slippage because the last few days with the change in weather here ive noticed my squeegee is dragging a bit. I started using ecover with white vinegar (just a cap full) about six months ago and never had a problem.
