Frank was with me today for a change. He put ladder against newly fitted gutters on newly built extension....He needs to go back and fit new 4 meters of guttering free of charge on top of materials bill....nice:eek:

I had a terrible frank moment yesterday

I was recommended to a new custy down the road so i went round to quite it up

Busy road, school run on steroids, cars parks everybloodywhere

I quote get job then when i leave its a nightmare, cars double parked and sme mums are giving strange signals and basically stopping in the middle of the road not knowing what to do, i get going finally and i nip through some cars and bang, i clip a wing mirror and it just knocks mine in a bit, no trouble.

I carry on then the car wing mirrot i clipped speeds up my ass, and i can see in the mirror theres a problem, so i pull over a lot further up the road due to parking and oh dear, the shell of the mirror is missing

I ask him where it is, he dont know, didnt u pick it up? No. Dumb ass.

I go back to the poi t where he was parked through a crowd of parents and kids and find it on the pavement, i get it back to the car and pop it straight back on, signal light still working etc, just a small tiny scratch. He seemed fine about it all in the end but he was bloody ****** off to begin with.

But i ask you, who was to blame? These parents double parking or me? He was half on the pa ement oposite another car half on the pavement on a regular side road, i was more worried about children crossing the road and i just got slightly too close and that happened.

yep thats frank for you...

tis a mad world at that time which is just one reason you dont see me going out then.

years ago I went out at 8,30 with cornflakes in a bowl and I had ate them by the time I got to the main road ...where I promptly turned around and thought feck that and went home and had a cuppa./emoticons/biggrin.png

suppose thats why I have no money but I cant stand traffic.

I bet frank knows a good handy man though...you plonker frank:rofl:

He was to blame for parking illegally surely?

yep I watched our local plastic policewoman booking two on friday and wondered what they had done..

when I got there I could see they had parked where there are broken white lines in the centre of the road..

nice surprise when they come back from the railway station.

"You plonker rodney don't rest ladders on guttering" I bet was the first thing he said too

Well this morning frank broke my plastic filter set spanner. Then he went to move some old 25ltr containers with pure in them and the handles broke off them so water went everywhere...

Frank strikes again the little devil /emoticons/biggrin.png

So had to use the customers power to put the van battery on charge whilst I carried on working
