My birthday is fast approaching and I'm being asked what I want. Apart from the new MX5 that doesn't become available until late summer there isn't much I hanker for. I'm going to ask for a new washer sleeve, I'm currently using an Unger Monsoon which has been fine. There's loads to choose from, which is the best?

SYR tiger . {blue n white ] my whole life hangs on this sleeve

yeh rite!

no,straight up that sleeves a surefire winner, tho you need to break it in ,and its a real dripper

few sell this sleeve, windowcleaningwarehouse and allclean . i once was on the phone to allclean about something else and happened to mention this sleeve ,how great it was AFTER its broke in . allclean was unimpressed with my revelation

Moerman blue microfibre sleeve

Sleeve and handle weighs in at about 8 quid

Couldn't believe how cheap and is holds a fair bit of water

Even though it is so soft it scrubs the glass well

Don't get me wrong..i am not advertising moerman but since trying their stuff i am very impressed

The channel obviously i like

The handle is good

And the applicator is surprisingly good for the price

Not tried anything else yet

i reckon the moerman sleeve might make an excellent bike seat cover

one downer is the moerman handles doesnt fit on other poles, the hole for locking is in a different place

Ive used monsoon and ni ja in the past but they dont compare to the moerman blue microfibre sleeve, super soft and great to use, i wouldnt go back to any others ive tried

I've read good things about the Moerman sleeve, will it not fit onto my Unger handle? I might have to push the boat out and get the full package, handle, sleeve and Liquidator, what a birthday present that lot will be. Happy days.

It will fit the unger handle

I just wanted another complete applicator

The old porcupine is for dirty first cleans now

A 14" moerman sleeve will fit onto any 14" t bar, i think dave was suggesting that the handle also is better in that its lighter and the handle is more ergonomic. Its rounded and fits well into ur hand

Ive started using old sleeves for first time cleans too, its also good if u use two on a first clean, u can use your small one dave for cleaning the frames, then regular size for glass?

That handle however might be good on your bike seat idea depending on your preferences

That's what i have been doing..spraying ubik everywhere and then do frames with small one and scrub glass with porky or all with porky..depends on the job

then clean like normal after

I prefer the porcupine on first cleans myself but will try the moerman sleeve when I get around to ordering some of their new channels.

I used to use the unger micro sleeve, but after a months worth of work the fibres would be shot ,.... Been using the monsoon for years ,,
