Hi can anyone recommend a quality trolley to wheel my gardiners backpack about on. It must not be much bigger than the backpack to fit in back of my van. Cheers ash

I no screw fix and b and q do a aluminium one that folds flat and is quite light!its 29.99

Only draw back is not having pneumatic tyres

i use a sacktruck for mine, i know thats bigger than you want but a mate altered mine a bit so it would fit better & im sure it could of been made smaller if needed. the b&q type trolley dont last a week unless you carry the whole thing up & down any steps etc

I've had a b and q trolley years no issues wot so Eva I remember when I bought it got he lad who worked for me to stand on the platform and wheeled him up the aisle to see if was strong lol

I do have sack truck to but its bit bulky

wow the handy foling one looks great, not seen one before, gonna get one just to play with lol

i dunno how your b&q one lasted Eviestevie, i know they carry the weight but up & down steps & over kerbs etc made the wheels bend on mine & i tried 2 before i gave up. its all i use so it does get hammer though

looks like i was using it all wrong then lol still sack truck was only £30, def gonna try the folding one thoughthe

There is a folding one on ebay for £20 inc posting ive gone for. Looks ok I'll let you know if its ok when I get it. Thanks everyone for feedback and help cheers ash

Good pal keep us posted how you get on I just use a master lock strap and the back pack never comes off the trolley

I started with a heavy sack trolley and diy trolley now I have put it in the van to use as a can mount. But sods law says ive picked a few houses up where a trolley would be quicker, terraces on main road where parking is awkward so going to get a lightweight trolley and make a new one .

I imagine the backpack is handy just to carry about?

Im thinking of making one with a boab attatched so can trad bottoms. I think this would be great for terraced where you have 4 or 5 a couple of hundred yards apart maybe on opposite sides of road etc the only thing I hated about trolley was running out of water.

What ive just said isnt really relevant to the thread I know lol

This is my trolley, it is light fits in the small space in van and ive tested it round the garden and seems good. Time will tell if it lasts. At 11 quid plus postage it was worth a punt!

That trolley looks just the bizz actually.

You can get some on eBay for even cheaper, hopefully it will be the same quality.
