I may be spurs but i sort of gave up on football a few years ago due to the wussy overpaid useless players

"We lost but we've played twice this week"

Bullshite

.if you are being paid 250k a week then you should play 7 days a week

Rugby is more a mans game..and i like all fighting sports

Yeah agree, football is going down the pan, fans are sick of it paying huge amounts, It costs me 1000s to watch arsenal in a season. The players dotn have as much heart these days for the club and seem to be out after a loss on the **** chatting up girls rather than feeling down that they lost. Rugby the players are more passionate about the team. But football is main one for me. Only fighting sport I like is boxing, seems ot be a few better fights these days again, it got a little quiet, but some good hate fuled fights now.

I grew up boxing..love to watch it..especially lightweight and amateur boxing as more action

Thai boxing is great too

I like the respect in rugby..the ref gets called sir

None of this arguing with the ref like football

I heard the ref at a match my mate was playing say"if you keep arguing then you can explain to your team why i am going to make you move the ball back 10 yards for arguing"

The guy soon shut his mouth as the ref has the power

Massive Ice Hockey fan! That really is a blood sport /emoticons/smile.png) /emoticons/smile.png) /emoticons/smile.png)

Come to Notts for some boxing Davey, Nick 'The Greek' Yarnall is an amateur boxer who works for me, I just still can believe he can make the scales for fly weight as he's the scrawniest lad you ever saw. :puke:

Also when I am chancellor there will be a special tax rate of 95% for all footballers that I personally feel haven't played so hard that they are laying on the pitch having a cardiac arrest!

And well that's just quite simply all of them, that'll refill the coffers nice and quick! /emoticons/smile.png

I would have to lose weight again to box

Over 14st 4lbs now so would be heavyweight

I don't like heavyweight as they are too slow

13 st i was when i was boxing so would be cruiserweight

That few lb makes a big difference

Don't get too close though as they teach how to weapon disarm too

Got into it as a kid as mates dad learnt in israeli army

We used to get taught by him all the time i was growing up

Last year i started learning properly again am doing well

:devil:You can use your Israeli self defense system as long ass I can use my Israeli self defense system.........UZI
Funny that, I was doing a crossword the other day and the clue was: three letters, U, something, I, Israeli machine gun. I had'nt the faintest.

It's also made in Finland by fn herstal..that could confuse the crossword even more

Finnish gun??who would realise

Krav marga looks very interesting. Ice always been into martial arts on and off over the years. Started with judo as a kid, done karate, tkd. Did a bit of mma for a few months.

My main thing was muay thai, I did that for about 2 years about 5 yr ago had a few amateur fights it gets you super fit and really practical as in close range self defense situations. Loved it its just brutal

Not done anything for a few years now but want to get back into it when got time. I fancy ju jitsu and muay thai

Thai boxing is excellent Adam..slways wanted to try but the proper boxing i was already commited to

Krav is awesome as it has taken good bits from other systems and made an excellent one

It is not standard self defence

Where else do they teach to block and simultaneously hit someone in the balls, throat or fingers in the eyes etc

Or to keep stamping on someone when they are down

It is designed to completely incapacitate your attacker

That is why there is no sport version of it

I've got a fb page and regularly get people asking how much for this and how much for that etc. I'll give them estimates or say can we arrange for me to come round and have a look and they rarely get back to me after that. My quotes are cheap enough so how best should I be closing in these customers?

Some facebook users will then contact the next windie who replied and see who gives the best price

If you say you will go round to quote and another guy says fiver for example you won't get a reply

Saying that i am not cheap and i don't have that problem due to recommendations whenever someone asks for a windie

I have a few people who instantly reply with my name so by the time i see it i jave already been mentioned a few times

Get people to review you on your page and recommend you

Yeh krav is deadly. Muay thai soon toughens you up elbows really hurt. And youd be surprised how painfull a kick to the thigh is like been hit with a baseball bat lol

Never quote 'Blind' so to speak, they ill describe their house, tell you how many windows etc etc and it's always inaccurate.

Even if I know the house they are asking about I always tell them I will go round and quote, ask them for a mobile contact so you can at least talk to them in person.. Once face to face the close is easier than picking a random number outa the air in the hopes of adding 1 more custie.

Like Davey boy, I aint cheap either. I did 3 quotes today, £20, got it (10 minute job) £16 (another 10 minute job) also landed and a second £16 10 minute job, they will think about it as I am £2 more expensive than their current window cleaner. No problem they can let me know what they decide and if they don't want me I wont lose a second of sleep over it!

Do you want to be known as a 'cheap' window cleaner or a reliable fair priced window cleaner. How you perceive yourself is often how others will perceive you.
