[/media]. found this on youtube! its my second month so today has been my first full day on maintenance cleans but think am still using a bit to much water but this looks rushed to me plus he only rinsed the last window! is this the norm?

Yes he's going a bit quick. But as long as the customer is happy, then so be it... I always rinse and if I know the customer is in I take a little longer. If your too quick and even if you've done a perfect clean, the customer will begrudge paying you £10-£20 for a 5 minute job.

If I was that quick I would be on about 500 quid a day. would like to see what the experienced guys have got to say about this, that looks all wrong and rushed and no proper rinse to me. We need more wfp vids.

He is actualy rinsing on the glass apart from the last one that he rinses off the glass.

I would like to see a trad guy clean the front of that one any quicker @TolishAPurd /emoticons/biggrin.png

lol so he can do 10 of those fronts in 20 minutes. Someone please come on here and tell me he's doing it all wrong lol.

What I'd like to see is the mess that was left behind once it all dried.

This is Paul in the video.

He built up his business and made his money and then emigrated to Australia to window clean over there. So he did something right!

A lot will say that he was rushing too much, but this is a 4 weekly clean, and obviously very clean windows to start with.

Also from what I gather that house would have been priced at about £7/£8 so that's another reason why he was working fast.

He worked in an area about 30 mins from me, where trad guys will clean that whole house for £4/£5.

Paul said he only occasionally got complaints while he worked this fast.

I also know that the backpack was running full power, so about 2 litres per minute flow rate, mayb higher. This helps when you need to work fast.

In all seriousness, it is amazing how fast with WFP you can work and get a perfect finish.

Didn't clean top frame on upper windows, didn't clean all of the glass, left front door.....splash and dash. I have seen this video mentioned on another forum and he rinses on the glass except the last window. Looks a strange way of rinsing on the glass to me as he isn't creating a waterfall effect at the top of the window with the brush above it and moving down the window. Expect to lose customers using this technique! I rinse on the glass at 3 storey only because you can't rinse off the glass accurately.

Sometimes you turn up and the windows are still pretty spotless. Like you did them that day. Wizz round and get to the next job. Lots of water is great. I wonder maybe if you use more water, you use less water?

jonathan what does price have to do with it ??? just because its cheap doen mean he can get away with cutting corners and if he got a couple coplaints here an there well i dont get complaints if u are paid to do a job you do said job to the best of ones abilty

i run my system at 050 at cal of 65 and thats a 5 lpm pump so i use 2,5 litres in minute but turn of an on between windows and long spaces

personlly to fast for me as could cause spotting in corners as he isnt rinsing fully

im no where near that fast, but i take too long far too cautious, shows how fast you can though. worth doing once youve got a full round if you lose a few so what if you can smash em off like taht all day you would be on some serious coin.

My point was that if someone is paying £7 for a 4 bedroom detached house then they aremt going to mind if there is a bit of spotting in a corner. If they were paying £20 then they may be more picky.

Also You definitely don't use 2.5 lpm.

More like just over one litre per minute at those figures.

Even using a 5lpm pump running flat out you will only get 3lpm at the brush head at the most. Probably less.

adam ur getting the wrong picture its not about smashn them out why wud u lose some?? because the one u lose actually have a mouth to speak up and say hey u doin a **** job??? wat bout the rest of the customers its not all bout spped

u go that fast also all day u be wrecking ur back etc

take an extra hour in the day do it right bit slower and u be better off for it
