Moerman Liquidator

Even in the summer i use a lot of soap

Just means i soap up less windows at one time

Really enjoying using mine. Not to keen on the rubber. Already had to turn it. Don't last anywhere near as long as my unger soft but the tool itself is very good. No clips fallen off yet.

unger soft is slightly shorter front to back but is just about ok in it

Ettore is the same size or fireblade razr

every now n then when im working i clean a window and bam its another one done easily -i happen to glance down at the moerman and smile to myself - im glad i found you is what im thinking

True love, you have found it amigo:whistle:

I try to use as little soap as possible, because I want as little suds as possible, which then saves you having to detail the edges. So it is a difficult balance between getting the right amount of soap to get 'slidability' for the squeegee without the suds, but it works for me.

I don't need to detail the edges anyway whatever channels i am using

I like a good strong mix so the water stays where i put it and doesn't slide down the glass

Had a good day using mine yesterday

anybody else think that the overall quality could be better or am i just being picky

Late to the party... As usual...

Just got my Moerman stuff today. So haven't really had time to try them out properly. And apparently I got clips gen1 so have to do the warm water/pinch mod.

But from a quick 5min test. The results are as advertised. /emoticons/smile.png

I have to change my technique a bit to get perfect results though. But that was expected.

The handles will also require some getting used to. (I use the Ettore Pro and Pro Grip normally.)

But all in all. I give the Liquidator a thumbs up!

What rubber do you usually use?

It works better with facelift so I have been told

I will decide for myself tomorrow when my new rubber arrives

Moerman soft isn't very forgiving when trying to turn sharply

Used unger hard and soft and turns like a normal channel but is slightly too short to make the clips work properly

I usually use Ettore rubber. Tried some in the Liquidator as well. More forgiving than Moerman soft but the glide and overall feel are different. Have to experiment more to see what works best for me.... Dunno if I can get Facelift rubber here in Sweden. Have to look around.

But I probably won't buy the precut Moerman 14 inch soft at 3.3£ a piece...

(Thought 1.9£ for 14" precut Ettore was kinda pricey before...)

How is it How is it more expensive than ettore for you??

Moerman is half the price of ettore here

buy the moerman 42 inch rubber strips. if you are using a 14 inch moerman liquidator channel you get 3 generous lengths from 1 strip , with a fair bit left over so easy to trim exactly

Guess they mock up the price. (Because it's a novelty.)

Might try to order from the UK. But shipping usually equals up with the savings.

Will keep an eye on your findings regarding the facelift/Liquidator though. The facelift might be worth an order if it's any good. /emoticons/smile.png
