You lost me on that one or do you mean "same experience"

I had a go of a mates a couple of years ago and it was ok but I am a born tradder i think

I was going for a backpack last month but decided to save my money for a new van instead

Just gotta find a decent van now

Seen some low mileage berlingos and similar sized on the interweb for under 4k which i could buy now outright but looking for something that jumps out at me and i am fussy

Some say you are not a real window cleaner until you can use both methods properly /emoticons/biggrin.png

I can use it as i would just keep going until i had a spotless job (did a house with my mate and enjoyed it and had no problems) it would just take me a bit of time at first

I can use a rag

I can use a squeegee

I can use a ladder

I can use a trad pole

That must make me a super windie

Wanna certificate and tshirt? ?

I'll do you one for 50 quid

Not so fast grasshopper as a wise old man said to me "man with hole in pocket feels cocky all day" @daveyboy1 /emoticons/biggrin.png

To answer the question some never change and are happy just doing trad but many do and never look back. Reason being wfp adds an extra revenue stream to their business being able to do both whichever method is most suited to the job in hand. Not to mention the H&S thing which is an added bonus of using wfp pole.

Wagga is a classic example as took him over 20 years to figure that one out /emoticons/biggrin.png

^ your right there. the very word "ladder" has a ring to it ,of daring do, high stakes, poker etc . Whereas the words "water fed pole" just sounds naff. if it was "fire fed " or "whiskey fed " , more folk would be drawn to it im sure

I was trad 8 years before going wfp, and I was sceptical about it and put it off for a year or two, when I finally took the plunge I thought hmmm this is quite good actually...

....1 year later and I couldn't recommend it highly enough, it opened doors that never would have been open with just trad, and as smurf said, it adds a massive boost in revenue, and opertunitys,I've picked up several offices blocks and commercial buildings being wfp, I can't imagine life without it now!

2-3 years later and I now say it's a must!! I'd give it a go if I was you OP! If you don't like it, you can always go back to trad... I still use trad on probably 30% of my round at least, it still has its place.

And this is coming from a guy that used to slag off wfp for years...!

the secret is use bothmore strings to your bow

more options using both
Yep, spot on there, using both is the best way really, it means no job is too difficult as you can cover all bases!

Pure water has been known to degrade UPVC frames. Wfp also burnt down my house, punched my children, and had sex with my wife. Stay away from WFPs.

Tolish you should work for ukip doing anti other party propaganda

Think you would be good at it
