8.berry season and the pesky birds and there purple **** stains on the pvc!!

Anything else I've missed or pisses you off

Basically all of the above for me too, but defo the bbq right by the window is my most hated thing.

And dog **** in the garden; and worse than that, cat ****. Absolutely hate it, even worse when it covers the hose. Disgraceful!

As stated above.

1)Spider poo( basically fly blood) on window sills, but now soak it with bottle of water, or wet sill cloth, clean window then cloth of as softened it

2)Custy talking too much, dont mind a wee natter

3)if house has been plastered with birds mess, takes longer, then their not in to pay, then you go back and then they want to blether for ages, lots of precious time wasted

4) flimsy benches, logs and general stuff that makes access to windows, potential ankle breakers

and of course RAIN, RAIN, RAIN:(

In the early days when we didn't have enough work we tolerated this. Now we don't. Every house that's full of the stuff has been dropped and customers told. One of our customers was actually aggressive rude when we advised him why we were no longer doing his windows.

My advise to any new starter is not to take on a job like this, even if you need more work. We should have been more selective from day one.

school holidays

spoilt little brats jumping and tugging your hose and always asking what i,m doing

customers can see you in street so they decide to take of in there cars

wave as they pass you

Customers who see you there doing job at window - they know how much it is - you been going 5 years - but they HAVE to wait for you to finish whole house before you knock on door for money -

' are you finished?'

Yes I've finished

' done all the windows?'

Yes as always ( smile thru teeth)

' right I'll just go get my cheque book from the attic ' .....

Eviestevie the barbeque one in particular...why under the window...

I point it out but...its still there..I bladed it and ignored all the grease as...its self inflicted....but I will remove it after barby season so for six months the window is clean.

washing lines..grrrrrr things that fall to pieces as soon as I er I mean frank of course, touches them...

like the brick that came off the wall on friday as I carried my backpack over a gate...hmmmmm well I placed it back..

terrible access on some houses squeeze past the wheelie bins...fight the kids toys...watch out for the dog sh it..

yep this post does bring back many memories...

Animal **** i won't tolerate

Binned one recently for that

Told him i was more likely to step in some than to stand on an ied in Afghanistan

Don't go back to collect money

Those who don't leave it hidden pay by paypal or bank transfer

Cheap i hope it pees down tuesday as it will make my window cleaning easy lol

its tough there a contract and Im already late and so ...I will just have to dodge the raindrops.../emoticons/biggrin.png

its the ....canyoujuster come inside and clean the kitchen window that Im not so keen on...Im not supposed to accept oral instruction:rolleyes: off the ladies it says so in my contract..

as long as they take their teeth out first...

one of the things I am most scared of is as I turn up at the big patio windows to clean they have nodded off ....I usually leave the windows till later as I am worried about them popping off suddenly waking up to see my squeegee flying across the window..

I try and avoid one and think I will do the back first as she has the blinds drawn and every time she catches me..must be the shadow...and then....thats ten minutes lost...but I do get a pound for cleaning them inside so mustn't grumble../emoticons/biggrin.png

I don't need more work, but lots of people have dogs and it can't be helped, if I got rid of them all I'd lose a big big chunk of my work

Hi Jake

Most of our customers also have dogs. The occasional pile in the garden is understandable, but when it never gets picked up isn't acceptable. We had 4 or 5 really bad customers where you couldn't see lawn for poo. We dropped all of them.

When you text to say leave gate unlocked I'll be round tomorrow

When you go there the patio is covered with cr ap

Spruce I'm the same I dropped five jobs last month all new customers because of dog **** I'm not talking the odd bit this stuff was piled up and they were nice houses I don't understand it.
