Adding a RO

Hi,

I

Currently run a van set up with just a DI as the water is medium/soft in my area. So just fill up and go?

Is it worth investing in a small RO (Merlin or something) to prolong the life of the resin or am wasting my money? Can I fill and go with a RO? or is there any other filters I could put inline?

Thank,

Attached is my set up when I rebuilt it to give a rough idea or the DI size

it will take long time to fill up with a small ro yes u will prolong resin life but at the cost of time spent filling up how many times a day do u fill yer tank if once u cud leave it on overnight with ro to fill

Thanks, Twice a day it's only 350ltr, what about in line filters will they do anything? Sediment/carbon? Is there a RO you recommend?

well ued be lucky to fill 350 in 2-3 hours with one of them and if ur fillling durin the day uel never make it fill in time

what about buying a static ro system ?? means u just go back to the house and transfer into the van
