What do you think?

has he got no pure to clean his van...?

interesting but....000 is 000 and unless my mince pies are lying.... using it windows look clean to me...

I mean....I know there are some fussy custys out there but really just how fussy can they be..?

oh love that especially the last one mr google I mean smurf...very interesting and...very useful to explain to people pure water..

one of the downsides of the pure water windowcleaning system is how good it is at attracting and absorbing dirt unfortunately the downside being the water on the frame continues to do its job and nicely drips down as soon as you leave the job and we just love spotting...

hence why it takes a few cleans to settle down..

and one of my major rookie mistakes...not flushing the frames enough or the glass for that matter....well my water is somewhat limited../emoticons/biggrin.png

as stated in previous posts from time to time I do indulge in pure water drinking however..

firstly...its not pure...its my tedious creep water ie my first draw of about two litres...so hardly ultra pure probs around 004 downwards..

secondly...and this is important to note..pure water doesnt like being pure as stated and so if you drink it yes...it may well go after your minerals etc in your body....

BUT...and this is my argument...pure water is not choosy...it will also pick up toxins and bad bits just as easy so...I will continue to drink it when my body tells me to drink it..and feel somewhat cleansed as I **** all the bad bits out as well as the good..

and dont forget...I do eat...a lot...and so all the minerals etc are constantly being replaced..

another point is with ultra pure...you would find it equally hard to drink because it would be instantly contaminated on contact with air and the container it was put in..so basically you would have to put the output tube straight in your mouth and in that case I do believe it could be dangerous..

I dont always use it as I drink from the bathroom tap at night and also...

I drink gallons of tea and coffee and juices all made with tap.not to mention what the custys give me..

I am in no way ocd about anything..,mummy told me...everything in moderation and balance is the key to life....and she is right...balance is the key to life..

sorry to go all heavy now but I am actually searching at the moment as to the reason life exists at all ...it doesnt make a lot of sense if you think about it..

and I FOUND it extremely hard to google as I didnt know what to put but just last week I found one of the reasons life crawled from the sea...

and...its to do with balance..nature always seeks equilibrium always seeking equality so if a cell develops one way it has to develop the opposite to counter it....

very like pure seeking out impurities...

sorry for going all heavy but as you get older you do kinda wonder what its all about..

but I did enjoy that vid smurfy...keep em coming./emoticons/biggrin.png

I would not drink normal ro/di purified water myself without boiling it first to kill off the bugs in it.

bugs bugs..its tap water in the first place what bugs...

and on mine you can actually add many different filters if you so desire...

any way...I watch celebrity get me out of here every year so bugs dont frighten me..

and of course in asian countries they think were mad not eating them...

poor smurfy hate to tell you...you eat on average seven spiders a year whilst your asleep....

Trust me the ro/di procces removes the chems out of tap water that would normaly kill micro bactera and micro organisms in the water so no it's not that safe to drink.

wow smurfy...they are all ready dead by the time they arrive at the unit...

I HOPE....

.off to bed now as wifey nagging at me..

Ive come back after engaging my brain ...and...after some careful consideration ..I do indeed think there is a danger...of sorts..

thanks to my teacher , sprucey, the danger could come from bugs who establish in the filter material....but...they need energy to survive ..namely light...and the best place for them would therefore be ...the first pre filter the sediment one..but unfortunately for them...ta sprucey...the chlorine which is put into kill them is still active at this stage as its the job of the next filter the carbon to kill that..

as the next two filters are air and light tight its hardly likely for them to allow bugs to survive however....my kit wouldnt state on the box additional filters are available ...if there wasnt a possibility...this additional filter being a uv light which is mainly for hospital use...

however brain engaged I have concluded smurfy you have a valid point....but...not one which worries me in the slightest as you really havent seen the state of our house...I did show you the hob...yep ..its always like that...

but as a concession to your point mr smurf I have to alter my current habit slightly because...

legionnaires disease...is a killer..so you do have to be careful...

one thing I will alter is the current storage of the end of my pure outlet.....this currently is dangled in an empty bottle to catch any potential leakage...but...

this is open to light and air....so ...me thinks a weak bleach solution will be used to store it in in future...unless anyone else has any other ideas..but.

I do believe it is safe for me to drink......occasionally...dont forget by the way...

they system is flushed everytime its used...not really good for the bugs..

and if I ever become ill and suspect the ro unit...I WILL add the uv light as...that would kill off algae anyway..

and dont forget folks ...although not pure water....water filters have been around for ages...

and after a nights sleep and lots of thinking..

would I drink ultra pure...well..

yes and no....

I WOULD drink a pint but no more...

and although it veers off the post somewhat cnc is going to waffle on some more...

the human body, an amazing creation is...seventy per cent plus water...

my favorite star trek line comes out now as described by an alien...

ugly bags of mostly water...

ta..so it follows that the human body is designed to get and use water

so my argument is by giving it pure water...your giving it a rest as it doesnt have to clean it up as its already clean..

as for ultra pure being dangerous

well you have to look at its pathway into the human body..

so it probably:D isnt great for the cells in the mouth throat sarcophagus..as if I COULD spell that ..or even know where it is or what it does....but anyway....once down the throat it would enter the stomach ..

now the stomach holds an incredibly corrosive acid...so ultra pure isnt going to upset it too much..and once in the stomach it would mix straight away with the contents..ie my bacon butty and so...

would soon not be ultra pure..

so after a lot of thought and waffle I think you can certainly drink our pure safely in moderation but ultra pure...I WOULDNT get carried away with..

after all...when there was a big upsurge in hydration in the eighties people jumped on the fad wagon and drank water like mad...

and as we found out...it can kill you ..there is a word for it but...too much water can kill and has done..

so the key is as always balance..

and so back to the post...before gav puts me on the naughty step..

the need for a no doubt very expensive peice of kit...

cant see it myself....as once I leave a window clean...its clean..

until the next clean./emoticons/biggrin.png

now as for all the logos on the van....

well the custy has to be impressed..

all part of the game...

its amazing what you can learn on the windowcleaning forums site folks...
