Nice one

Regarding the lance your best bet is to buy another lance & a turbo nozzle also a vario nozzle I find comes i very handy too.

I have two turbo nozzles and frank seems to have lost the one that works well. The other one is knackered as don't spin most of the time now.

It's going to be fun if frank can't find it in the back of the van today as I will be needing it... ******* Frank strikes again /emoticons/biggrin.png

How do you know what will fit or are all lances and nozzles interchangeable?

See wot size thread on end or you can buy a quick release system and then you can change nozzles In seconds

Had a few turbo nozzles stop spinning on me. Big dose of WD40 each time it played up and gets you a few extra months or at the very least the job finished. Now i carry a spare !

140 bar so 12-14lpm I should think on a gx160 with a swash plate pump.

Turbo nozzles aren't usually too bad depending on the brand - the ur25 are about the best for 30 odd quid

I personally would say that for that money you could have had a 250 bar gx390 @ 15lpm, I say this because you are probably going to struggle with a flat surface cleaner if you intend on doing it regularly - with a turbo it will be slow going but if it's only occasional cleaning your patio etc it will be fine. it's also worth emailing them and getting a copy of EXACTLY WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS. Whilst it is described as a commercial machine it is probably not continuously rated etc so the seals may not be covered which could prove expensive if they go.

ahh im sort of regretting not going for more bars .. i cant afford the surface cleaner yet so would be using the turbo nozzle until i got the pennies ..

ahh i hope it does a job

Please check the warranty part out - I can put you in touch with a chap that can attest to this. Remember that you get 14 days cooling off period also if you find it lacks pressure - try to find a local drive cleaner and ask to try their machine for comparison.

Its going to be hard work to clean big areas, and I wouldn't want to use a rotary with it.

I paid around £1200 for 21 litre per minute belt drive with a large rotary etc.

i sold mine for £650, full start up package, all you would need,

i stopped as i was getting too much window cleaning work now with all the new builds being created near me.

my son who is a scaffolder says he would like to help out on the weekend as he dosent usually get any overtime, he got a shock when i showed him what we use, he couldnt believe you just brush the windows and rinse, he was thinking i still used ladders, he says its too easy.

ordering extra bits today for a 2 man set-up

if hes any good i may think of getting another pressure washer package, he can then do that bit.

but i would pick a higher waterflow rate. you will always get a call asking you to quote a large driveway, you will be happy knowing that you picked a 15 / 21 LPM washer.

make sure you get a outer bypass fitted and quick release fitting on lance to change over to FSC if needed.

if i knew my son would help out ion the weekends i probably will have kept it

but i think i would have upgraded to a honda gx390 , more serviceable and parts easy to get for servicing, loncin also use honda parts if needed

No Loncin don't use Honda parts...... you'll cause all kinds of problems doing that!

15lpm is now what I would consider minimum and that is after using a lower lpm, it is too much like hard work otherwise and will take forever.

If you are wanting an honest opinion i would send it right back and order something with either much higher bar or higher flow.

It will take an eternity to clean with that.

For the money you are spending there are so many more better buys.

This might not be what you are wanting to hear but i have used lots of different machines and whilst you still can send this back i would urge you to do it.

This

I have a GX270 (listed as 8.5hp) with a WW961 interpump. (Listed as 172 bar 15lpm)

It draws from a static tank, so i can't be too mobile with it. How many metres of hose could I use without a huge loss of pressure?

I don't mean the hose supplying it with water, I mean the high pressure hose attaching to the trigger
