Thinking of possibly getting a 4 or 10 ft clx pole for conny roofs and bungalows...

There quite cheap and may well be a hidden gem... Particularly for conny roofs.

Anyone got one? Or both..

I've got a CLX-4. I use it very occasionally for a bungalow. No good for conny roofs

You'll need steps if you want to use a CLX-10 for a roof. I wouldn't bother buying either personally.

i like the idea of a small brush be handy if u have load small houses but wat bout if them houses have skylights ...

i thin i will stick to beast ie 30ft it does them all /emoticons/biggrin.png

No I always use a ladder for conny roofs, never do them from the ground, (you get so much more pressure when being above the roof panels, plus I find it way easier) at the mo I use my 18ft but the collapsed length can be annoying at times when on a ladder, that's why I wanted to try the clx10 as its so short on collapsed Length...

Also good for bungalows I'd have thought? And sky lights when on a roof...

The other thing they may be good for is low level gutter cleans and conservatory facias and gutters...

So I thought it might be a good buy....

Why not just cut an old pole down that is you have one or take some sections off it.

Still 10" on some conny roof jobs I do would be too short for me that's using ladders too.

ya cant really take sections of to make it smaller i know were ur coming from bout need shorter lenghththe 4ft one is only 72cm closed thats cool /emoticons/biggrin.png

Could do but haven't got any old poles smurf,

Like the idea of it being ultra light on conny cleans, and then can use it for all the fascias and gutters, I the windows, all with a nice shirt light pole...

I'll have a think about it, it's more a conscience thing than a necessity

I bought a CLX-18 just for its looks. Probably will never be used, ever.

If you feel it will aid your work then why not just get them /emoticons/wink.png

As sad it is it tuffers, I'm the same, sometimes buy things just cos 'they look good'

Get a 10'' Jake.

I even extend mine a bit for ground floor, i think the 4'' would be too small.

Get the big wide brush on it and it eats through the work.

I use it for conny roofs and a few jobs a week that i don't clean first floor windows (pubs, some offices ect)

It will last years

Great little pole.

Being hybrid they tend to be heavier and more whippy than a full carbon pole. Mind you after saying that they are short poles so should not be any issue.

Yeah it's so short it will be really rigid anyway,

Yeah think I'll get the 10'

I do a large shop front once a week, and just realised it'll be perfect for that as well

No free brush with that pole Jake
