Some new moerman gear and bucket...

WCF

Help Support WCF:

their prices for the gear are the highest around. ok they have overheads but who doesnt . they never offer any cheap options and that loyalty card they give you is a real joke-id wager nobody has ever claimed a full card in living memory! .an example is this new moerman stuff , they are only selling pre cut moerman rubbers, very pricey that way to buy it. whereas others offer the full lengths that you cut yourself. i only go in their shop when im desperate, last time it was one of my workers broke his work belt out on the street.

i knew they sold belts so as we were nearby drove straight there . the guvnor offered me the most pricey velcro belt ever[and sh/t quality] but as id looked recently on their website i knew they had others.

after a bit of reluctant to and fro["we are out of stock "-dont give me that -"well maybe i do have some"-where are they then] he went and got out the others and i knew instantly the [cheaper option] but far better Pulex belt was the one.

Yeah there not the cheapest that's true,

Perhaps you need to win them over, they do take a bit of time to relax round trade customers...

Does the moerman boab hold the liquidator ok. It's a bit of a squeeze in my unger one as I've got rubbers in it to stop the squeeze rubber being nicked by the plastic.
If you are having problems getting nicks in your boab a simple puncture outfit does the trick. Just glue a patch on the the problem area, usually on the inside angle at the top, it does the trick and doesn't take up any more space than normal for getting your squeegee in and out. The ettore boabs were the worst for it but i dont use them now. Had problems with the ninja boab and ninja squeegee with it nicking the blade, but seems to be ok with the liquidator

Rainy day forces a trip up to the window clean center,

Came home with some nice new Moermon products,

I'd already used the liquidator for a few months as Bob sent me a prototype beifre it was released, and I really like it, so bought some new fully developed liquidators (14&18inch) plus a couple of t bars

And a new bucket with a sealed lid, finally won't have a wet van after going over speed bumps!!
Is that bucket water tight mate i have a yellow ettore one and the water still seems to get out, usually soaking my van floor

So do you get or have had this type of line, how did you overcome it?.
Nice sharp rubber. Absolutely square smooth end cuts (I use a Stanley knife and tap with a hammer). Prior to Wag I only ever fanned with Ettore Brass as the rubber could be gently stretched and secured with end clips. Smooth strokes with equal pressure along the blade at all times. I always got best results with 14".

I find them slightly fiddly, you have to get them in the clips exactly right or else you get the ski jump effect at the end......cheers though will try, try and try again.

Yep totally water tight mate, Lid is a bit tough to fit on, but once on, no water leakage at all

I only

Update. Sorry no the ninja bucket wrecked my liquidator rubber today lol had to go back do using unger classic bucket and s channel. Has anyone used the moerman boabs?

Yeah i take mine out too.it is just with it rubbing against the plastic inside the boab it too a big chunk out the rubber. I went through the same problem with the ninja squeegee it kept wrecking rubbers so i stopped using it

is the mimja boab made of a really hard plastic then? i find the pulex boab slots dont harm moerman rubber

I'm not sure mate, never had a problem with the unger classic boab but had the same problem with the black ettore boab as what i'm having with the ninja boab. A punture outfit patch sorts it out but i got fed up with the hassle of having to replace it once it had worn out. It's just the shape of the boab that is the problem i think

iv always used a Pulex boab . with wagtail squeegee. the rubbers sometimes got ruined by the boab as the Wagtail channels didnt fit nicely altho they did go in.

recently im using a Moerman channel that is thinner than the wagtail channel its a perfect fit into the Pulex boab slots and has not ruined a rubber

Nice vids Jake. Gonna have to get myself a Liquidator, heard mixed reviews but you have convinced me haha.
The power of video!

In fairness the smaller liquidators, 12-14 inch, are an absolute dream to use, best squeegee I've ever used by a long long way
