there are some real messers about out there for sure..

one of our friends....did all the windows about three times and then didnt ask me again but..

passed on another job on the same estate which I do regular every month..

but I Kinda glanced across at their house wondering why I wasnt being asked to clean the windows..

and then...out of the blue..

can you come and clean our windows and do them every month...

FOR A BIT.....

she said come on next tuesday as we are away next week..

but as you all know...

cheapie likes away and so I did em whilst she was away and put my online note through...which to be fair...she duly paid..

got a text back...windows are nice now but the sills arent very good..

er...text back...sorry but sills need regular cleaning to maintain them and they will come clean again with regular cleans..

well they buggered off somewhere for a year../emoticons/biggrin.png

I'm a glass cleaner not a sill cleaner you should have said.

Once you start saying I clean all the frames and sills as well included in the price some expect them to come up spotless and look like new so you make a rod for your own back if they are fooked./emoticons/biggrin.png

I always say i wipe the frames and sills everytime

That way i can't be held responsible if they look grey..i have wiped them rather than cleaned them

Same when doing wfp work you should say "I wash over the frames & sills when cleaning the glass " not clean them as a lot need restoration work that you should charge extra to do.

Had a free index page for about 2 years not had a single job from it?

Only had a couple of messers from facebook, you get messers regardless of where they come from, facebooks been extremely good for me.

the job she passed onto me a new build really has remained nice and clean sills as I went up the ladder for the first time in a year last time and they still looked good,

and that was just on a quick wipe over with my brush ..

I only do a once a year check off ladders on that house..

but leaving them....they will get ingrained..as of course the windows wont be too good either..

I dont know whether cheapie will bother to do it next time or not...

as you know ...

cheapie is quick to do a runner:rofl:
