This is the first fathers day in yearsi didn't get a Toblerone :gush:

I did however get a day out at a local chilli farm where i get to taste loads and pick some to take home /emoticons/smile.png he's a good boy really

Lucky boy going to Paris. Can't imagine he'd need dragging there though /emoticons/wink.png I won't ever get a toblerone... knowing my little boy he'd end up eating it himself before I got any bless him /emoticons/biggrin.png

And the dec joke was cheeoncheerfuls really, I just made it clearer /emoticons/wink.png

I get the watery lines left after the squeegee has gone over the window and the rubber hasn't even been in the BOAB!

Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk

Can't remember who bit someone had a good idea of pouring plastidip in the boab and then pouring back out to leave a rhin rubber coating on the whole lot
could be worth a try. I see it comes in spray form too

Hmm the rubber in the boab could be a winner, maybe the big company's should

Take that into consideration...

It's a piece of equipment for the purposes of carrying your applicator and squeegee, is it too much to ask for it to be designed in a way that doesn't damage your rubber!

yeh but ant ...we all think ladders could be re designed too so that they have the pull out safety legs and standoffs built in so you would be more likely to use them..

the manufacturers should READ OUR POSTS..

actually...I wasnt thinking of dec as the name of your part timer ...but did think that was funny..

regular members know what name I had in mind for your part timer that keeps dropping his squeegee..hes always on here in fact...hes now a member...

buy him a

I used mine today and it was hit and miss. Some parts of the glass it left a trail and on other parts of the same glass it didn't. The rubber also came out of the clip a lot, but I did manage to clean the house faster than normal with it.

I know mate, we could go on and on about the obvious things the manufacturers could do to make their products effectively better but hey ho!

Oh my part timer has the full repertoire of irritating habits which he displays on a alarmingly regular basis! Dropping squeegee, Applicator, scrim, scraper....His guts!!! :turd:

If I buy him one of those things, he'll prob somehow hang himself with it.....He's a good lad really /emoticons/wink.png

Hit and miss, spot on, I've noticed this inconsistency with it...Baffling!

sounds like my brother:rofl:
does he blow his nose on his scrim like my brother did....
Oh man that's pretty grim! He does blow his nose on the paper bag his sandwich was in though.

What are you doing that I'm not??I just use it like a squeegee and it works fine
Dunno but I ain't giving up on it yet! Just needed to walk away from it for a bit. I need to make sure I cut my rubber dead straight at the ends and sort my boab problem out and I'll probably find I'll get better results, probably...I hope.

Don't be too fussy about how straight you cut the ends

More important is to cut it dead flush with the ends to avoid detailing although if you didn't it would only affect the edges by the frames not the rest of the glass so that wouldn't be causing the problem

Yeah it's not so much the edges for me, it's everything else. I just seem to have too many issues like lines and skipping/buckling.

I don't know if you have the new or original clips that had the issues

Have you tried the polzn bladz fix with a cup of hot water?

Original. I have done the crimpy thing. It's weird! I'm sure it's something I'm doing rather than the tool. I'm just not one of the chosen few and have to work at it.
