leaning pole against wall!

You should hire a p.a. or get the kids to earn their pocket money lol  I just figure the brush cleans itself while cleaning. Why did you mention that you used it for a first clean? Do you normally use a seperate brush for first cleans and maintenance cleans?

nah only got one brush so far not got tuffers problem yet...

but...I did get excited looking at the pics the other day...

well yep first cleans obviously are full of :turd: so I am more careful..

but as I checked afterwards...I needn't have worried...

more concerned with the over looking side window on an adjoining building..

I was just thinking that window overlooking really spoils a great property..

only later to find it was their garage ...

and then I panicked that they thought I was doing that in with price...

so i did a runner...

As there's a CCCTV camera I reckon the only positive to this outcome is that if there was an accident at least we would capture A picture of Frank in the flesh /emoticons/smile.png

i never rest my brush on a brick wall to risky any grit that gets stuck in the bristels could scrach the glass:eek: also i allways rest pole in a corner un less there is no wind an nuffing expencive for it to fall on:D

View attachment 7170 Is this safe, I always lean pole against wall when waiting for frames to dry! Or when waiting for dripping to stop for lower windows, seems like a lot of time wasting to contract pole. Worry it could blow over though!
Not been funny but why are you waiting for the dripping to stop , the gutter will catch the water

I speak from experience, when I first starting out using WFP practising on my parent windows I use to lean the pole on brick wall thinking nothing of it.

Went upstair to see what to see a good job I have done but noticed a few chips on the windows like u get on the cars/vans windscreen. Thankfully my parent eyesight are feck up and still haven't noticed it yet after all these years.

When I said wait for the dripping to stop, I meant the frames from dripping so I could clean the glass. Maybe I am overly cautious of dirty drips from frames. I have just started out on wfp and clean 8 weekly.

Ok to rest it on the 1st floor sills? Interesting that the topic has switched to brick dust, but my original worry was the pole blowing over and breaking a customers property.

yep there is the blowing over worry too...

yeh I learnt the keir flick off here..../emoticons/biggrin.png

okay so I smurf my prices and

do the tuffers pinch on my hose and

then a keir flick with water off along the frames to knock off excess water..

and off I go..

usually I use a taytay or microfibre to just wipe the top sill to stop it leaking down after I have gone.

its just great what you can learn on here../emoticons/biggrin.png

I quite often rest mine like this if i have to stop

I know its wrong but i dont care, im lazy and i just done care so i do it and just get on with it

I rested my hand on a recent new house brickwork yesterday and couldnt believe the brick dust that came off...

once scratched.....theres NO going back../emoticons/biggrin.png

Explain more?- I mean about getting the dripping off frames speeded up so can do one window in one go?

yep there is the blowing over worry too...
