How do you fellas dispose of used resin? Do you just get rid with household waste? At the moment I have a few plastic buckets in the garage full of used resin but running out of buckets lol. Any input appreciated ta

Im surprised they dont offer to have it back as I know it can be rejuvenated...I think up to at least four times...

its a bit of a pia to do but you can buy the chems to do it.../emoticons/biggrin.png

still me grows tomatoes too..top tip:D

well maybe if you think about it....

resin takes away all the chemicals and minerals in tap water....

and plants need them...

and nowt so clever as nature..

so roots get em back..

and also..they like oxygen so plastic would give space in the compost to let it in..

I dont think he was joking...

who needs alan tichy marsh...

I agree wholeheartedly. far too much plastic hanging around...

co op brought out bio degradable plastic bags so the answer will turn up one day...

yes resin used in a path not so bad as a binding agent...you could chuck it in concrete too as they are doing that with plastic fibres today..

guess who used his rotting scrim to stop compost going out of the drainage holes on his plant pots...

but it is a good post just what do you do with it....

still think they should take it back...

and part x....:whistle::rofl:

serious?!!
no just joking./emoticons/smile.png i do have tomato plants in my greenhouse trying 3 plants growing in coco coir fibre they are double the size of the ones i have in compost. top tip never let the coir dry out.

Interesting. Never heard of coco coir before. I've been experimenting with fish blood & bone this year and seen a big difference in my Squashes.

Bag and bin non hazardous when used . Think its expensive to rejuvenate unless you use the stuff by the ton .will try filling dips in grass where I park the car
