Normal way you price (taking above for granted) = £20

Do you have lots of plant pots or shite for my hose to get caught on - no -£1

Do you need constantly reminding for you to pay? - no -£1

Do you talk a lot - no -£1

Are you generally in the house when i clean ? NEVER IN - £5

The moral of the story is customers, be considerate and you will pay less

Never mind the windows, it's more like a lifestyle survey with appropriate tax applied /emoticons/biggrin.png

In any business you should increase your prices with inflation, otherwise you will eventually fall too far behind. Years ago when prices were £3.20, £3.50, £2.70 etc I put mine up 20 or 30 pence, in the last couple of years, because most are over the six quid mark, I have gone with 50p or more. I have noticed over the years that it nearly always comes out at a 4% increase, which is pretty good.

I clean the windows of an office of a financial adviser, I also do his house. I had put his office up a pound, but the house only 50p as it was £16, and it was a good price anyway. Well, he told me "why are you putting up the house by only 50p, I'm telling you, as a financial advisor and not a customer, that you should put it up by a pound". What could I say? I have done it this week and will be round for the money on Friday, so it will be interesting to see. Should I push for the pound?

Just put the prices up on the ones that are underpriced/awkward/bad payers, the ones that are always out and pay promptly online i would not mess with as a good customer can be worth as much as an extra pound in stress freeness.
