What tires out first for you? Arms? Legs etc

yeh daveyboy thats what I thought...even so cant believe a kilo a month...

but on the other hand...it does get old cheapie to wake up.../emoticons/biggrin.png

And on topic either willpower or my knee is what makes me stop.

My knee is permanently broken, as I have never given it chance to heal, stupid I know but several months in a knee brace doesn't go well with working so I ignored it for a couple of years, now its got the the point where even going up stairs is painful.

What did you squat before @Diwrnach?

I can deadlift well also and lat pulldowns etc are good inc chin ups press ups..basically any pulling

Can't bench well for toffee though although i have a big chest. .can only really do it on a smiths machine

Never really lifted to bodybuild though due to boxing and krav

Usually 4-6 reps and compound excercises to be atrong and explosive rather than all defined for show but have no real strength

You see that's where I excell, upper body strength, weighted dips, and weighted wide grip pull ups have always been a good solid strength,

Get me squatting and I'm **** !

For reps not a whole lot more than you, around 220kg, but that was ass to the grass.

Bench around 100kg for reps.

Dead around 230kg, should of been more and was going up well, but I didn't;t dead for a long time.

Now my guess is they are all about the same as a big girls /emoticons/sad.png

I go to parralell and that's it mate as my knee don't like it

Motorbike accident fooked my knee a long time ago

Same as if on the seated squat type machine

Have to put my hand on my knee while i push off ready to do my set

Dips are ok Jake but not great for me

Chins are good for me and rows etc

More pulling than pushing even though i have big triceps it isn't my strong point

Push ups on the other hand i can do over 50 in 1 set at over 15 stone even though pushing but can't bench for ****..weird but we are all different

Years ago when boxing i only did bodyweight excercise..always been good at push ups sit ups squats crunches

So stick 4 of them on your back and do some squats dave /emoticons/tongue.png

not a chance far too heavy....

although my dad was funny when I said oh these are heavy and he picks one up and said oh not so bad..not bad for 75:D

Do you window clean every day as well as chefing 6 out of 7 nights? If so, how are you not dead?

+1 that's mental

Yep ...... Welcome to my world lol! The only daytime I don't work is Sunday daytimes and I don't get out of bed till 11-12. Totally wrecked, been doing it for a year now. This time of year is killer to be honest as busy as hell in the kitchen and windows too. I'm sorta happy when it's peeing it down as get a rest from windows. It's burning the candle at both ends to be honest and not doing me any good and Sundays is mega crash day. Usually have a few beers when I get home of a night too which don't help but can't just switch off mentally after a busy night in kitchen.

ATM I'm helping my friend on his round which is 3 weeks a month and I've got about a week on my own round.

Missis works part time at Argos on a 8 hour monthly rolling contract an she's been there a year and still have to sign a new contract every month...... And with 2 kids and house and bills to pay. I can't just sit on my ****.

Plan is to keep building my round untill I can knock the chefing on the head and as I don't get a lot on my mates round pay wise as it's priced stupidly cheap (a whole new story) and eventually go solo

But ......

I'll get there..... Blood sweat tears...... Determination

I will be a fecking window cleaner!!!! I will !!!!

Fair play to you mate, you're doing what you gotta do. Not speaking from experience but I think we all know how physically + mentally draining working in a professional kitchen is, coupled with working on the windows, I think I would literally sleep all day Sundays!

Sounds like you're already a window cleaner to me, and once you build your own round you'll be chillin like the rest of us /emoticons/wink.png

In the meantime don't kill yourself please. Thanks

Haha cheers ant.

Yeah I'm already a windie but wanna be a windie with a full

Round. It does help that I love the job so it's not mentally torturing like chefing is. Just physical.

My kids won't for nothing tho and they appreciate the value of money so makes it all worth while.

Which is more than I can say for the missis.... Lazy ***** ;-)

It's a means to an end tho, hopefully last summer chefing :)

@BenjiRixon

Full admiration and respect to you mate, I hope the window cleaning takes off soon, could you take a day off cheffing and use that day to canvas?

wow benjirixon some busy life you have there mate..

but like you say ...needs must..

a lot would say Im a lazy windie on the hours I work these days but....

I was out for 9 when younger and didnt finish many a time till 7 at night...

never a weekend worker though...although in them days...

started work on the house....so maybe I was...

and what a lot on here dont realise is cheapiie doesnt always come home and sit on his ****...

I wonder how many windies bring the washing in or empty the dishwasher etc..

and guess who is the chef mon to fri..

well okay its not rocket science for cheapie...not exactly real cheffing...

more a ...slam on the oven at ten past six

bang in baked beans or spagettie or peas bottom in a pyrex dish..

bang sliced potatoes or chips on top

and some other delight out of an iceland box in the middle ..

them boxes are very hard to open..

plates in the top to warm up and hes back in his chair..

and presents his wifey with all his hard work

yes real cheffing as watched on tv...is PURE HELL..cheapie would want to belt some of them watching chefs right in the chops...

windows in the open air is pure heaven after that..

hope you make it through the summer to become a full time windie and free...

and come on here and moan about the weather like we all do....

yes damo ...cheapie peeded off with wet trainers and socks and shorts everyday all hung up in the water tank cupboard to dry so may look at that..

but kinda getting used to working in the rain now on pre pured windows...it saves my water anyway:whistle:

and as for the lazy missus...yep me got one too...we sleep downstairs on a pull out sofa bed as the kids have all the rooms..

and guess who gets changed for bed in extreme slow motion so that I pull it out and make it up..

oh she is sooooo lazy at times..

I'll check it out tonight tolish

I have been using a ready made barbell that they have there..the biggest they have

It may be your right..but it has 200 written on it

I never usually even take notice of the weight i lift as i train strange anyway

If it feels bloody heavy I'll give it a go and get a few reps done

I found for me that is the best way to get strong rather than big..same as if you worked as a labourer all day on a building site..just pick it up and move it

Then once i feel knackered i go and use the boxing equipment

I'm not one of these nancy boy bodybuilders who have to look in the mirror all the time while in the gym doimg my 12 reps of not very heavy weights
