Yeah i know..just how i train..pick it up ..if it feels heavy do what i can with it..

90% of my training is on the bags and bodyweight stuff

200kg isn't "that" heavy, its a bloody good lift, but not 0.1%, at least not with the groups of folks I chat with lol.

Though to be fair my squats always been a good lift for me (apart from recently) my dead is only slightly more than my squat, which is wrong, my dead should be way ahead.

I can strict overhead just shy of 100kg

To be fair probably be a couple of years before I start squatting that weight again.... sigh /emoticons/sad.png

hmmm gonna have to practise...200kg...what weighs 200kg...

WIFEY.....

ooops wifey not amused she said she only weighs 63kg....better put this bit in cause its nearly saturday morning:thumbsup:

Depends on what you have done with your life and how naturally strong you are anyway, I was squatting over 100kg after only maybe 4 months of lifting, I was already strong before I even started, but I reckon anyone can lift 200kg in maybe 2 years of good solid training, with a decent diet etc.

yes one of my daughters inherited her aunties genes and is very strong and could run all day...unfortunately its the anorexic one so not so good these days..but genetics does play a big part..

so why did I take after my mum and not my super strong dad....

My dad was 5ft6 at a push so not got it from him

Mums grandad was 7ft docker and huge and it's her lot i take after

I follow my mum and more specifically granddads side, I am actually a small male for that side of the family, he was also small at 6 foot 2 (same as me) his brothers were 6 foot 6 and 6 foot 8.

Viking blood, descend from normans, that side of the family is Marlow which is norman through and through.
