Im away to put an order away for some new supplies, so is the liquidator worth it. I usually use a 12inch squeegee with ettorre rubbers.

I would go for the 10 inch, so would my ettorre rubbers still work well with this. Or would it require harder rubbers, and what are the rubbers like that come with it. They seem quite pricey. And finally, what handle do you guys use? Does the ergotec handle fit it? I generally use a squeegee with a forty degree angle so would i be okay with the one that is equipped?

I got the moerman handle, and yes I think there more than worth it, hardly ever need to detail...

there a great job but takes a while to get use to , im looking forward to getting one of the new wagtail precision glide squeggees , but there not available in the uk yet, some claiming that there better than the liquidator but il decide that myself , theres a video up on youtube if anyone is interested

I'll be honest and say the liquidator for me has been a bit of a conundrum! I've never got it working perfectly, ok sometimes, but I never feel fully in control of it. I've taken all advice on board but alas I'm still not at one with the tool!

In the end it was stressing me out and slowing me down, can't have that! Dog eared my standard channels, not perfectly but good enough and I'm much happier.

But don't let my negativity put you off! You have to suck it and See for yourself. There's plenty who love it.

I have a wagtail slimline with liquidator channel....no problems whatsoever

Different disc but like this

After a couple of solid months with all channels my favourite combination is the 14 with Moerman black handle (I don't use the swivel option at all, it's rubbish) using Ettore rubber. I'm a huge fan of Razer Red but in the Liquidator Ettore has the edge for glide and control.

like the screw to hold the rubber idea as I want to use my old handles and my er...attempts at drilling holes to take the pulex handle have killed my liquidator...well it bends too easy now../emoticons/biggrin.png

Have never tried the liquidator myself, think its quite pricey (so the rest i write is only my pov) I have used my standard non dog eared ettore channels with razr rubber for 5 months and i hardly ever have to detail very much, it all comes down to pure skill with the squeegee.

That been said i will buy a liquidator when i get more income just to try it out, but dont think it will be a 'must have' like my waggie.

What wagtail do you use. I have athe control one, is it any different than the slimline ?

Mine is the new combi dogeared and cut in angles on the ends. I only use it one a pole as i dont like it in my hands. It is very fast and detail free when pole working. Never tried pc or slimline but been told the slimline is superb

The slimline with scrubber is perfect for me

I had the standard channel dogeared like mr bladz does and was perfect but i thought I'd try the liquidator in it and glides a lot better

I did add sow velcro on the scrubber as it is prone to fall off the liquidator without it

I prefer my 10 inch mod unger. Hard let any detailing & don't have to change the way I work to use it. Saying that when I did get the liquadator going it was good but for every hour it was good I had 3 where it was rubbish. Think it's one of them you gotta persevere with because used right it's a great tool. Saying that been using my 12 inh unger s+ channel today & was brilliant. Whatever suits really.

We'll I jumped on the bandwagon this week. Firstly bought just the channel to put on my unger ninja.

Arrives in post, runs to van with big grin, channel in hand all excited...... Goes to fit.

Erm.... No moerman channel too thin. Feck sake, oh well I'll have to buy the handle now.

Handle arrives this morning, runs to van with big grin handle in hand knowing it'll all fit ...... Puts together ...... Tests back door window -Not impressed.

Don't like the handle at all. Feels cheap an it's too flat with no angle and pressing the side button in to adjust angle works but you can't lock it....... Pointless

And I don't like the screw adjuster underneath as it's in the way when you use it :-(

However I do really like the channel

Can't swap it around only fits one way ........

And the push button on the side doesn't lock so even if I did swap it over it I can't lock the handle to my preferred angle only flat :-/

View attachment 4968 Mine doesn't lock at all. Not sure if I have a faulty one or not then :-/

*edit* just checked and yeah think mines faulty, noticed all the others I've seen the button pops out once you've choose your angle whereas mine stays in untill returned to flat.

I bought the 10 inch, but it actually is less than that, so the next time I bought the larger one and cut it down. I've just cut another one down today to a 12 inch, and it only had to have about one and a half inches cut off.

This week I got 18 " and 14" with Moer handle

Love it ... Not tried with wag handle yet

I can't see how people struggle to use it really

It is strange to me how many people are struggling with it as i have had no issues either

I don't understand

Wish i did so i could maybe suss out what the problem is
