I would like to apologize to my Group for posting this following statement. I have been subject to a hate campaign for the past 15 months. That is why I created the Zero Tolerance policy on trolling and bad behaviour, because I know what it feels like to be a victim. I am going to break my silence this one time to correct the record. I apologize if it is not what you want to read but not saying anything has lead to further widening. I don't wish you to take sides, in fact I plead that you don't. I simply need to correct something I have heard today that has made me think it was time to post this.

  • Lee Burbidge    Statement: This was said by Mark Munro on 28/7/15 - "Most people know what I think of Lee Bumbridge as he let me down last year raising money for charity at the show as he promised to put an advert in his magazine but didn't. Since then I have bitten my lip and let the ***** get on with it but not any more, he has just called me a muppet on You Tube for no reason! He thought he was right but he is wrong"
    Just to clarify, I never agreed any ad for any charity. This is the first I have heard of it. What actually happened is, that I agreed to put a couple articles in the magazine in the run up to his show. I did an article on the show in one issue, but did not have time to do it in the second issue before his show. I had to drop a few articles in that issue since it was midnight and I needed to pack my case for a trip to America leaving at 4 am. I needed some sleep. The magazine is a free magazine and nobody including Mark pays me for putting stuff in it. I tried to correct this after, when I got back from the US, but he was not interested. He had whipped up a frenzy. Instead he was more interested in fueling the hate campaign against me that has lasted 15 months. He was reported to say only 2 months ago that "he wants to crush me" and " that he wants the industry to come to him and not Lee" - like I'm some sort of God or something - lol I just run a magazine.
    His actions alone have split the window cleaning community and for his own agenda. He has told people also that he does not like me because I cream money out of window cleaners. God knows where from? There is probably other stories too but I am unaware. I don't get into public spats and I dont often comment, this leaves Mark Munro to do his discrediting unhindered. Unfortunately, that is where we find ourselves today. Thankfully window cleaners are seeing through this and leaving his groups at the very least starting to see untruths and spin. It never had to be this way, Mark Munro is a major problem with a track record of destroying a forum, and turning its members against the forum owner over a disagreement. He has also been reported to say a couple days ago when asked if he is willing to let bygones be bygones for the sake of the industry, " Lee needs me, more than I need him", that says it all really. Unfortunately, it is far from the truth. I have tried to make the peace many times with Mark munro but he is stubborn, unwavering and stuck on his agenda. As long as he considers me a threat, things will not improve. Thankfully also, suppliers do know what is going on and I know the one that has bought into the Mark Munro propaganda and I know the other two that share Mark's agenda - the rest are friends of mine whom I love that they are neutral which is exactly how I like it. smile emoticon

In fairness to the bloke I think he would improve his image a lot more if he removed every single publicity photo off the internet. And if he wants to be in the 'window cleaning community', then stop wearing suits in all his vids and pics as it just makes him look like he is above it all. Just an observation, but hes probably a nice lad.

 
I went to the first network meet in liecester and met lee for the first time.

He's a top bloke tbh.

I don't care about who said this and that now.

It's gone on long enough.

 
He seems a nice guy to talk to and i found him pleasant enough..same with Mark..i stay out of arguments that don't concern me and judge people on my experience with them so can't comment

 
The confusing thing for me is how come old members (who are obviously more than welcome and loved) are back on here, when they left for another forum....Be interesting to find the story out behind that!!. one I will never know I expect. lol

Who would have thought the 'window cleaning community' could be such a complex place, with so many twists n turns on the emotional rollercoaster of the removal of dirt off windows.
