End of tennancy prices

Thinking about it, double the water flowing and half the pressure might actually be good for sheeting the glass and frames with less splashback, the brush does the scrubbing anyway... Hmmmm...

the good thing about one-offs is that it takes you into a fresh bit of road, theres a good chance a neighbour will see whats going on and contact me to become a regular on the round. i always charge double for one offs and i never leave before im paid . occasionally i need the cash up front if i sense a cheater/runner

I'd like to try a 10lpm pump! We need the psi to be around 100 to cope with the force though ... Otherwise it'd cut out at certain heights, the psi is only important to force the water through the thin hose and jets... Not to clean the window - as you said that's the job of the brush!

Yep that's exactly what I do,many times I even get them to pay my account before I've even been. Too easy to get mugged off on an end of tenancy, so why risk it.

Never been mugged off, but I do take payment in advance if they aren't going to be there, nearly all end of tenancies I do, the person is always there

Never done an end of tenancy rental clean but I did recently get a call from a lady that was selling... A few sales had fallen through and she was desperate to impress the prospective new buyer...I took the call and told her I would do it next week as it was Friday lunchtime and raining...she says the buyers are coming tomorrow, can I come today?...I ask what size house, she says 4 bed detached...I tell her if the rain breaks I'll do it for £40...get round and clean outsides, she asks can I do insides as well...clean insides and she says "will £100 be enough"?...that will do nicely, thank you...I took a look on Rightmove, house has gone for around 650k, sold board is up, need to give the new owners a knock...wonder if I pitch up with "last owner gave me £100 inside and out" if I'll get a bite.

End of tenancies are good business around here as we have a lot of students. Also the house prices are so high that everyone has to rent. /emoticons/biggrin.png

I've never been mugged off either. So long as you don't give people the opportunity then it shouldnt happen. If you went to tesco, they wouldnt let you walk out to put your shopping in the car before you pay.lol It pains me to hear some of the struggles people have on this forum, its all so preventable.

I don't think your overpricing at all,

The client is wanting there property all nice and clean for new tenants , it's a one off and your providing a top notch service
