Ah ok mate, I'll let you off!

How much you want for it? £395 a bit steep... A 50 litre one on eBay just went for £340...

HI Jake

yeah I realise seems a bit steep mate, but keep in mind ive hardly used it at all and only bought in May this year from pure freedom brand new, they are selling direct from pure freedom at £405 plus vat and about £50 delivery I think? I can provide receipt also...

if you can help me get my van mount sorted out at all for little as possible I would let it go for £320 inc cheap £12 reel, and 30m of gardiner microbore hose..

ive been quaoted £1300 for a 500litre van removable van mount fitting by pure freedom inc flow control, 100psi shurflo pump, reel, hose, removable cage and compact tank, cant really afford it but totally shocking big time at diy and not got a clue at all???

van is a Hyundai iload 2.5 comfort crew cab, about 1.5 metre space in back and I need to be able to remove for family holidays etc etc

cheers mate

just diy it till you save more cash, pump / controller £170, 350 / 500 ltre tank £150 / £280. reel £60 fittings etc from wilkinsons around £5

around £400 total.

p+c = new.

tank / reel ebay

Defo diy it mate, but in not sure how your gonna be able to remove it all, it's a lot of weight? Especially a big tank? Even empty they are really heavy...

Hi Paul there's a guy in Worksop who fits out wfp vans he sells under the name of baileyswfpsystems on eBay give him a message tell him Mike from Sheffield sent you hope that helps

320 plus reel and hose will bring it back up to close to the original cash. Unfortunately delivery doesn't count towards resale as someone could just pick it up or live close to the shop etc. Include vat in your price if you want it to seem more reasonable. I personally would never pay more than 60/70% at the very most for anything second hand, you get customer service, warranties, replacement parts, better resale value yourself etc etc if buy new. I very much doubt if you paid 400 you are going to get 380, or even 350. I think if you get 300 for it you have done alright, without all the extras. No harm meant, just saying to maybe adjust your expectations mate. Good luck tho.

And defo DIY, much cheaper and more satisfying

Thats what this forums all about. Simply put you need a water tank, a pump, a controller, a leisure battery, a charger and then the hoses to connect them all up. If you are unsure about what hoses/connectors to get, order the other bits first and a few tiny bits of hose to see which ones you need. Thats it. You can buy metal frames to cage the tank, personally I have built a half height solid wooden frame and then use ratchet straps too. Thats all there is to it. Once you have the bits and water tanks fitted the rest is easier than you think. Check out the van signwriting thread, page 3, if you want to see inside my van to see how my current tank is fitted, its a 150ltr, but will be swapping for a 400ltr this week and will fit it the same way, its up against my bulkhead. If I were you I'd start by deciding tank size and ordering and fitting that. Once thats in, the rest will fly together  All the info's on here if you search for it, using this forum is how I found out what to do myself at the start of the year.
