Hi guys

As I believe it was for most of the UK, it tipped it down here in Norfolk today, all day long, just the fine rain that saturates your waterproofs.

Still managed to do £315 of work with my missus, and only had one new customer say can I leave it because of the weather. Most others questioned it, but were fine.

Today was all new customers to me, from some work I bought. I know my regulars wouldn't be bothered as I've cleaned them for years in all weather.

But what do you say to customers who moan about the rain and WFP?

My line is "just as the rainwater doesn't smear when it rains, this water is cleaner and will be absolutely fine. I've done this for years with no complaints, and I don't intend for you to be the first /emoticons/smile.png"

Just want to get some words in my head to sweet talk customers in, on a wet day.

Left the house once to get dinner in, and that's it!

Don't work in this weather, although I should as i was soo bored all day!!!!!!!

I didn't work today lol but will be back at it tomorrow afternoon when I get up (landing at 2am so will need some sleep)

Weather report looks a bit iffy for tomorrow too

Had some really good jobs booked in today, did the first in the rain as I knew he wasnt into question it, but not the rest as they were all first cleans and I don't want to get off on the wrong foot.

Was it grim down sarf today boys?
East west split mate, hole of the east Coast was soaking, you lot in the west get it tomorrow... And every other day

No rain for me today, just very grey. Got a good day in including two builders cleans next to each other. It was actually nice not melting in the heat.

it wasnt too bad in colchester drizzledrazzled all day. i learnt years ago its better NOT to wear a coat or waterproofs, better to wear wafer thin clothing that dries from the heat of my body.

one of my lads has a hole in his shoe , wet feet and later in the day we had an inside job to do. "if i take my shoes off i will wet his floor from my wet socks.."

"no matter, by the time ur done your socks will be dry off his carpet ! "

Crikey boars, it was horrible rain all day in Colchester, didn't even venture out! You did well! No one else bothered!

it was depressing rain, but not heavy. on the arvo we all got depressed by it and wondered if i stopped a passing motorist how much he/she would charge to finish the round AND take me n the lads home And then come back n get the van

i reckoned most would do that for half a mill , the lads reckoned 100k !

It was quite heavy at times, standing out the back door to check periodically just made me wanna launch back on the sofa!

Sunny down south central all day today, still is! /emoticons/biggrin.png Got rain all day here tomorrow apparently, then suns back on thursday. Shame as was going to take my little boy fishing tomorrow, but if its raining looks like it'll be cinema or indoor play area or something instead...
