I know I abandoned this thread but just in regards to Ghandi, he wasn't racist, although I guess you could say he was patriotic, he didn't just help his home country india, before that he fought for equal rights for non-whites in south africa. He didn't want pakistan and india to seperate. As far as I know, sadly he was shot by an indian for wanting the country to stay united and not to seperate into different regions/faiths. He just didn't want the uk to control people over there where they had no right to in order for cheap labour and to send cheap fabric back to the uk. The film Ghandi with attenborough is worth a watch and fairly accurate. Buddha says many times, don't do what I say, listen to what I say and then make up your own mind. Peace to you all.
